【摘要】：翻譯實踐報告的原文取自《食源疾病的預防、控制及重要性》(Significance,Prevention and Control of Food Related Diseases)中的第一章“食品安全—問題及解決措施”(Food Safety Problems and Solutions)。本次翻譯實踐是在尤金·奈達博士提出的功能對等原則的指導下完成的,功能對等原則要求實現(xiàn)的是讀者等效,即譯文讀者對譯文的反應和接受能力與原文讀者對原文的反應和接受能力達到最大化的一致。此外,本報告還將結合卡瑟琳·萊斯提出的文本類型理論對本次翻譯實踐的原文本進行具體分析。根據(jù)萊斯的文本類型理論,文本大致可以分為四種,即信息型文本,表情性文本,操作型文本和聽覺-媒介文本。萊斯認為不同的文本類型具有不同的文本功能,翻譯時應采取不同的翻譯方法。根據(jù)萊斯對文本類型的定義,本次翻譯實踐原文屬于信息型文本的范疇,信息型文本旨在準確、客觀地向讀者傳輸大量信息,其翻譯應準確、完整再現(xiàn)原文內(nèi)容。譯者針對本次翻譯實踐中信息型文本的特點及實際遇到的翻譯難點,即術語翻譯和被動語態(tài)的翻譯,采取不同的翻譯技巧,即直譯加解釋和視角轉換,以期實現(xiàn)功能對等原則的要求。
[Abstract]:The original version of the practice report is taken from the first chapter "Food Safety problems and Solutions" in "Prevention of and Control of Food related Diseases." The translation practice was completed under the guidance of the principle of functional equivalence proposed by Dr. Eugene Nida. The principle of functional equivalence requires the realization of reader equivalence. That is, the target readers' response and acceptance ability to the target text is consistent with the original text readers' response and acceptance ability. In addition, this report will analyze the original text of this translation practice based on the text typology theory proposed by Catherine Rice. According to Rice's text type theory, text can be divided into four types: informational text, expressional text, operating-type text and auditory medium text. Rice thinks that different text types have different text functions and different translation methods should be adopted. According to Rice's definition of text type, this translation practice belongs to the category of informational text, which aims to accurately and objectively transmit a large amount of information to readers, and its translation should be accurate and complete reproduction of the original content. In the light of the characteristics of the informative text and the translation difficulties encountered in practice, the translator adopts different translation techniques, namely literal translation plus interpretation and angle of view conversion, that is, terminology translation and passive voice translation. The purpose of this paper is to realize the principle of functional equivalence.
