長沙地區(qū)英語學(xué)習(xí)者音段音位問題及對策研究

【摘要】:語音學(xué)習(xí)是二語習(xí)得過程中一個非常重要的環(huán)節(jié)。母語和目的語之間的差異往往會影響目的語的學(xué)習(xí)。在學(xué)習(xí)新語言的過程中,來自母語根深蒂固的語言習(xí)慣會阻礙新的語言習(xí)慣的培養(yǎng)。與此同時,母語對二語的干擾在語音方面尤為明顯。這是因為不同的語言,它的音位具有區(qū)別特征,而這些區(qū)別特征的差異會導(dǎo)致學(xué)習(xí)者語音辨析上的錯位,繼而影響語音的學(xué)習(xí),出現(xiàn)語音發(fā)音上的偏誤。湘方言作為中國七大方言之一,在湖南省內(nèi)有著廣泛的使用群體,其中,長沙方言作為新湘語的代表,與英語的發(fā)音規(guī)律和語音特征有很大的差異。筆者以長沙地區(qū)的英語學(xué)習(xí)者為例,嘗試探究他們存在的語音問題,并幫助學(xué)生習(xí)得正確的發(fā)音。筆者選擇了長沙財經(jīng)學(xué)校的學(xué)生作為研究對象,因為他們不僅普遍對英語基礎(chǔ)知識的掌握不夠,很多甚至都沒有接受過系統(tǒng)的語音教學(xué),而且自身也大多長期受地方方言口音影響。與此同時,中職學(xué)校的師資力量也較為薄弱,很多教師往往沒有意識到方言對語音習(xí)得帶來的負(fù)遷移影響,這使得中職學(xué)校的學(xué)生無法有效地習(xí)得英語標(biāo)準(zhǔn)發(fā)音。本文首先對比了長沙方言和英語標(biāo)準(zhǔn)發(fā)音在音段音位方面的異同點,作為進一步研究的依據(jù),然后借助問卷調(diào)查、語音測試等方法對學(xué)習(xí)者的實際語音情況進行探究,發(fā)現(xiàn)了學(xué)習(xí)者在受長沙方言影響而產(chǎn)生的語音問題主要表現(xiàn)在元音的長短對立不明顯,雙元音的發(fā)音偏移,輔音的清濁對立的偏誤等。隨后,筆者分析了長沙英語學(xué)習(xí)者出現(xiàn)的語音問題的原因并進行總結(jié),將結(jié)果運用到語音教學(xué)中,讓學(xué)習(xí)者的語音后測成績與前測相比有了顯著性提高,證明了教學(xué)方法的有效性。最后,筆者根據(jù)研究的結(jié)果提出了有關(guān)教師教學(xué)策略和學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)方法方面的建議,并總結(jié)了本論文的不足之處和有待改進的地方。
[Abstract]:Phonetic learning is a very important part of second language acquisition. The differences between the mother tongue and the target language often affect the learning of the target language. In the process of learning a new language, deep-rooted language habits from the mother tongue will hinder the cultivation of new language habits. At the same time, the interference of mother tongue to second language is especially obvious in phonetic aspect. This is because different languages have different phonemes, and these differences in phonological characteristics will lead to the dislocation of phonological discrimination, which will affect the learning of pronunciation and lead to phonetic errors. As one of the seven major dialects in China, Xiang dialect is widely used in Hunan Province. Among them, Changsha dialect, as the representative of Xinxiang dialect, is quite different from English pronunciation rules and phonetic characteristics. Taking English learners in Changsha as an example, the author tries to explore their phonological problems and help them acquire correct pronunciation. The author chooses the students of Changsha Finance and Economics School as the research object, because they not only have not grasped the basic knowledge of English generally, many have not even accepted the systematic phonetic teaching. And they are mostly influenced by local dialect accents for a long time. At the same time, teachers in secondary vocational schools are also weak. Many teachers do not realize the negative transfer effect of dialect on phonological acquisition, which makes students in secondary vocational schools unable to effectively acquire English standard pronunciation. This paper first compares the differences and similarities between Changsha dialect and English standard pronunciation as the basis for further research, and then, by means of questionnaire survey and phonological test, probes into the actual phonological situation of learners. It is found that the phonological problems caused by Changsha dialect are mainly reflected in the indistinct opposition of vowels, the deviation of divowels, and the errors in the opposites of consonants. Then, the author analyzes the causes of the phonological problems of Changsha English learners and summarizes the results. The results are applied to the phonological teaching, which makes the post-test scores of the learners significantly improve compared with the pre-test. The effectiveness of the teaching method is proved. Finally, based on the results of the study, the author puts forward some suggestions on teachers' teaching strategies and students' learning methods, and summarizes the shortcomings of this paper and the areas for improvement.
