【摘要】:本篇文章是一篇英譯漢翻譯實踐報告,節(jié)選自美國作家安妮塔·戴爾蒙的作品——《波士頓女孩》。該篇小說屬于勵志類小說,全書共九章,主要講述的是一個出生在20世紀初波士頓女孩艾迪·鮑姆是如何逃脫家庭的束縛,壓力和打破世俗的觀念然后憑借自己的不懈努力一步一步地走上成功的。她的成功是其父母所未敢想象的——那是一個女性可以穿短裙,可以看電影,可以參加名人文化和享受機會均等的世界;一個女性可以完成高中學業(yè),可以上大學,可以擁有自己的事業(yè)并且能夠找到關于自己的真愛的一個世界。她的成功也順應了歷史潮流的發(fā)展——美國女權主義運動。她的生命過程很好的折射了20世紀初時期婦女的活動,通過該故事我們了解到一位現代女性的自強,自立,勇于迎接各種挑戰(zhàn),面對生活的困難。于社會來說,她的成功不僅象征著一個時代的進步,于筆者來說,她的成功將會不斷激勵筆者進步。回顧整個翻譯歷程,筆者對原文的修辭語句,文化負載詞,對話和標題的翻譯進行了研究。在整個翻譯過程中,筆者遇到了很多翻譯上的疑惑,解決這些疑惑就是用的增詞、減詞、句式變換、直譯、意譯等等翻譯技巧,筆者的主要目的是力爭做到譯文和原文的自然對等。筆者遇到了很多重難點,在如何處理重難點句的方法上筆者采取的是比較法,通過對比找到更好的譯文。通過對比研究發(fā)現:在翻譯實踐過程中不可能有絕對的語義翻譯和交際翻譯,二者是相輔相成的,互相補充的,在某些句子中,二者的相輔相成使得譯文更加出彩。我們在翻譯的過程中應當考慮翻譯目的,讀者的特點和文本的類型。在翻譯過程中,筆者參考采納導師的意見,查閱相關書籍,充分利用網絡資源,比如在翻譯過程中遇到了很多有關猶太人習俗和特色詞語的翻譯,在如何保留當地特色詞語上,筆者查閱了相關文化背景。筆者力爭做到使譯文的讀者能夠取得與原文讀者同等的效果。在對原文翻譯完后,筆者認真著手撰寫翻譯實踐報告,在撰寫翻譯實踐報告前,筆者閱讀了大量翻譯實踐報告和相關文獻,目的是能夠找出適合自己的翻譯理論和方法。筆者結合所學的翻譯理論和方法在忠實于原文的情況進行翻譯。
[Abstract]:This article is a translation practice report by English-to-Chinese, excerpts from American writer Anita Dymont, the Boston Girl.It is an inspirational novel with nine chapters about how Eddie Baum, a Boston girl born in the early 20th century, escaped the bondage of her family.Pressure and break with worldly ideas and then step by step to success with your own unremitting efforts.Her success was something her parents had never imagined-a world where women could wear skirts, watch movies, participate in celebrity culture and enjoy equal opportunities; a woman could complete high school and go to college.You can have your own business and find a world about your true love.Her success also follows the development of historical trends-the American feminist movement.Her life process is a good reflection of the activities of women in the early 20th century. Through this story, we learn about a modern woman's self-improvement, self-reliance, courage to meet all kinds of challenges, facing the difficulties of life.In society, her success not only symbolizes the progress of an era, but also inspires her progress.Reviewing the whole translation process, the author studies the rhetorical statements, culture-loaded words, dialogue and title translation of the original text.In the whole process of translation, the author has encountered a lot of translation doubts, which are solved by the translation techniques of adding words, subtracting words, changing sentence patterns, literal translation, free translation and so on.The author's main purpose is to achieve the natural equivalence between the translation and the original text.The author has encountered many important and difficult points. In the method of dealing with the heavy and difficult sentences, the author adopts a comparative method to find a better translation through comparison.The contrastive study shows that there is no absolute semantic translation and communicative translation in translation practice. The two are complementary and complementary. In some sentences, the two complement each other and make the translation more outstanding.In the process of translation, we should consider the purpose of translation, the characteristics of readers and the type of text.In the process of translation, the author refers to the teacher's advice, reads the relevant books, and makes full use of the network resources, such as the translation of many Jewish customs and special words in the translation process, how to retain the local characteristic words.The author consulted the relevant cultural background.The author tries to make the target readers achieve the same effect as the original readers.After translating the original text, the author begins to write the translation practice report. Before writing the translation practice report, the author has read a large number of translation practice reports and related documents in order to find out the translation theory and method suitable for him.The author combines the translation theories and methods he has learned to translate faithfully with the original text.
