認(rèn)知語言學(xué)視域下GET的一詞多義分析

基于認(rèn)知語言學(xué)的一詞多義研究近年來已經(jīng)成為詞匯研究的熱點(diǎn)之一。文獻(xiàn)研究表明,前人對認(rèn)知語言學(xué)視角下的一詞多義研究多集中在名詞heart,hand,head等詞,而對于動(dòng)詞的研究并不多見。因此,本研究選取高頻動(dòng)詞GET,采用概念隱喻,意象圖式,射體界標(biāo)以及理想化認(rèn)知模型理論,對GET的一詞多義展開研究。本文采用個(gè)案研究以及定量與定性相結(jié)合的研究方法。首先,作者搜集到GET作為動(dòng)詞的25個(gè)義項(xiàng),數(shù)據(jù)主要來源于《牛津高階英漢雙解詞典》,《韋氏高階英語詞典》,《朗文當(dāng)代高級英語辭典》,《麥克米倫高階英語詞典》,《柯林斯COBUILD高級英漢雙解詞典》,《英漢大詞典》。依據(jù)認(rèn)知語言學(xué)理論,將所有義項(xiàng)分為字面義和隱喻義,包括1個(gè)基本義,13個(gè)增添義和11個(gè)隱喻義,其中增添義又可分為5類。研究表明,基本義是GET的所有義項(xiàng)中最核心、最典型的詞義;增添義是由基本義延伸而來的,詞義也隨之發(fā)生了變化;隱喻義則是在基本義的基礎(chǔ)上以隱喻的方式得來。相比之下,基本義和增添義更具體,而隱喻義則較抽象。然后,為研究其使用頻率,筆者從BNC語料庫隨機(jī)抽取2500條語料進(jìn)行分析歸納,得出基本義和增添義使用頻率較高,而隱...
