特朗普關(guān)于敘利亞空襲演講的批評(píng)性話語(yǔ)分析

批評(píng)性話語(yǔ)分析將語(yǔ)篇的語(yǔ)言分析和社會(huì)分析有機(jī)地結(jié)合起來,旨在研究語(yǔ)言、權(quán)力、意識(shí)形態(tài)之間的關(guān)系。政治演講由于其濃厚的政治色彩和大量的語(yǔ)言策略使用,常常成為批評(píng)語(yǔ)言學(xué)家的研究對(duì)象。2018年4月13日,美英法三國(guó)在沒有確鑿證據(jù)的情況下,以“敘利亞政府軍使用化學(xué)武器殘害平民”為由,繞過聯(lián)合國(guó)安理會(huì),對(duì)敘境內(nèi)目標(biāo)實(shí)施空襲。本文試圖對(duì)美國(guó)白宮官方網(wǎng)站發(fā)布的有關(guān)此次聯(lián)合空襲的美國(guó)總統(tǒng)特朗普的演講進(jìn)行批評(píng)性話語(yǔ)分析,旨在揭示其中蘊(yùn)含的語(yǔ)言策略及意識(shí)形態(tài)。本文以Fairclough的三維分析模型為理論框架,Halliday的系統(tǒng)功能語(yǔ)法和van Dijk的社會(huì)認(rèn)知方法(認(rèn)知語(yǔ)境、積極自我表述和消極他人表述宏觀策略)為分析工具,從以下三個(gè)層面進(jìn)行分析:在描寫層面,從詞匯選擇、及物性、情態(tài)動(dòng)詞、人稱代詞四個(gè)方面進(jìn)行文本的語(yǔ)言特征分析;在闡釋層面,從語(yǔ)境闡釋和文本闡釋兩個(gè)方面分析語(yǔ)篇的生成、傳播和接受;在解釋層面,解釋話語(yǔ)是如何被社會(huì)結(jié)構(gòu)所決定以及話語(yǔ)如何對(duì)社會(huì)結(jié)構(gòu)產(chǎn)生影響。通過分析作者發(fā)現(xiàn),特朗普通過一定的語(yǔ)言策略使用將意識(shí)形態(tài)隱藏于政治演講中。在描述階段,作者發(fā)現(xiàn)帶有感情色彩的詞匯的大量使用塑造了阿薩...
