《牛津手冊-食品、政治和社會》(34-35章)英漢翻譯實踐報告

本文為一篇英漢翻譯實踐報告,選取的案例分析對象來自美國學(xué)者Ronald J.Herring 2015年編著出版的《牛津手冊-食品、政治和社會》一書中的第34章和第35章,重點分析研究了在翻譯過程中遇到的一些典型的翻譯難點,并針對這些難點探討相應(yīng)的翻譯策略和解決方案。在回顧翻譯任務(wù)過程中,報告描述了譯前準備階段、譯中、以及譯后階段,詳述了每個階段筆者的工作內(nèi)容,并在譯前準備階段加入了卡特福德的語言學(xué)“轉(zhuǎn)換”理論作為指導(dǎo)。在翻譯難點和案例分析這兩章里,報告緊密結(jié)合翻譯策略和方法,選取部分典型案例,將冗余和不對等作為兩大類翻譯難點進行了文本層面的詳細分析和研究,并探討相應(yīng)的翻譯策略和方法:針對過度冗余問題,采取的翻譯方法是提煉原文、省譯法,而對于冗余不足問題,則采用增譯法。對于不對等問題,則恰當(dāng)靈活地綜合運用各種翻譯策略來保證原文和譯文的自然對等,比如,語義引申和變通,正反譯法,卡特福德語言學(xué)“轉(zhuǎn)換”。不僅如此,批判性思維在理解整個原語文本中也發(fā)揮著重要的作用,通過它來對原文進行語法分析、語境分析、語義分析、文本類型分析等等。除此之外,創(chuàng)造性重寫在翻譯過程中也和批判性思維一樣重要。此外,報告...
