《涸湖之舟》(22-28章)英漢翻譯實踐報告

本論文是基于《涸湖之舟》的翻譯實踐而撰寫的英漢翻譯實踐報告。該書是一本回憶錄,主要講述了澳大利亞作家兼藝術家金·馬胡德因父親的不幸離世,再次回到她童年生活的澳大利亞土著人聚居的北部地區(qū)的所見所聞。作者以奈達的功能對等理論為指導進行部分章節(jié)的翻譯,并依據(jù)詞匯,句法和風格方面的翻譯難點和翻譯理論,總結本次翻譯實踐的心得,撰寫本報告。澳大利亞文學作為一種蘊含獨特文化與民族風俗的文化,越來越受中國讀者的喜愛。而當前關于澳大利亞文學翻譯的理論著作較少,因此翻譯澳大利亞文學文本對于中澳兩國文化交流具有促進作用。奈達功能對等理論基于對等效應原則,強調譯文與目標語讀者的關系大體上與原文與讀者間的關系一致。報告中,作者為達成該翻譯標準,針對詞匯層面的難點,包括對于詞匯內涵意與功能詞的翻譯分別采用了注釋法與詞性轉換。在句法層面,主要遇到的翻譯難點為句子邏輯順序與長句的翻譯,作者運用了序列反演與結構重鑄的方法。在風格層面,作者總結的翻譯難點為修辭的翻譯以及譯文如何保持原文語言風格,分別通過直譯與意譯結合以及語境翻譯來保證達到譯文與原文功能上的對等。本次翻譯實踐為國內澳大利亞文學愛好者提供了土著文化方面的相關...
