近幾年來,國際工程項(xiàng)目日益增多,工程合同作為工程項(xiàng)目管理的必要組成部分,在國際工程項(xiàng)目中的重要性不言而喻。因此本報(bào)告以兩份英文機(jī)械安裝工程分包合同作為源文本,并對(duì)該工程合同文本的英漢翻譯過程加以研究。本報(bào)告的源文本為兩份英文機(jī)械工程項(xiàng)目合同,筆者首先從文本類型及文本特點(diǎn)兩方面對(duì)源文本進(jìn)行分析。文本類型方面,結(jié)合紐馬克文本類型理論對(duì)源文本進(jìn)行分析,由于合同屬于法律文本,主要以傳遞信息為主,因此屬于信息型文本;同時(shí)合同表達(dá)了合同雙方的意愿,也具有表達(dá)功能;其次合同在一定程度上呼吁合同雙方按時(shí)履行雙方的義務(wù)、承擔(dān)自身的責(zé)任,因此兼具呼喚型功能。文本特點(diǎn)主要從詞匯、句法和語篇方面對(duì)源文本進(jìn)行分析,詞匯方面英文合同中一詞多義、工程術(shù)語及固定的情態(tài)動(dòng)詞“shall”出現(xiàn)較多;句子方面主要以陳述句為主,多長(zhǎng)難句和被動(dòng)句;語篇方面主要分析了合同的整體布局及各條款之間的邏輯性。鑒于工程項(xiàng)目合同的文本類型及文本特點(diǎn),筆者選擇結(jié)合語義翻譯與交際翻譯的翻譯方法對(duì)源文本進(jìn)行翻譯。同時(shí),筆者結(jié)合源文本的文本類型及文本特點(diǎn),從詞匯翻譯、句法翻譯及語篇層面的銜接與連貫入手,選擇典型的案例,并結(jié)合語義翻譯與交際翻譯兩種...
