英語“Be+V-en”構(gòu)式的認(rèn)知語義研究

在英語中,被動語態(tài)是非常重要的動詞語法范疇。對于被動語態(tài)的研究,國內(nèi)外相關(guān)語法學(xué)家其著述頗豐。先前研究從語法研究的不同流派(如傳統(tǒng)語法、轉(zhuǎn)換語法、功能語法和認(rèn)知語法)出發(fā),對be型被動態(tài)即be passive進(jìn)行研究。許多研究學(xué)者將Be+V-en這一構(gòu)式(簡稱為BVC)作為英語動詞被動語態(tài)的標(biāo)記式或者原型式。事實(shí)上,被動語態(tài)典型式以及系表結(jié)構(gòu)都被歸入BVC構(gòu)式。鮮有研究對BVC做出詳細(xì)探討,尤其是對BVC意義研究、BVC意義建構(gòu)及其背后認(rèn)知理據(jù)進(jìn)行研究。為了更深入研究BVC,本文試圖跳出BVC為被動語態(tài)這一預(yù)設(shè)的前提,從認(rèn)知角度深入探討該構(gòu)式。本研究試圖從認(rèn)知角度出發(fā),運(yùn)用語法化理論,典型事件模型理論和認(rèn)知識解理論,探討以下三個問題:(1)英語“Be+V-en”構(gòu)式的語義特征有哪些?(2)英語“Be+V-en”構(gòu)式的語法化過程是什么?(3)英語“Be+V-en”構(gòu)式的意義是如何建構(gòu)的?本文主要得出以下三個結(jié)論。首先,BVC主要存在兩種意義,被動意義和非被動意義。根據(jù)施事的有無,可劃分為顯性被動意義和隱性被動意義。根據(jù)動作的結(jié)果是否具有延續(xù)性,可劃分為完成被動意義和非完成被動意義。因此從...
