《筷子三千年》漢英實踐報告

作為中國人日常生活中的必需品,小小的筷子蘊含著豐富的中國文化。由藍(lán)翔寫的《筷子三千年》詳細(xì)介紹了筷子的起源,種類以及與筷子相關(guān)的習(xí)俗和奇妙故事,對筷子文化進(jìn)行了全面的展示。基于對筷子文化的興趣,本篇實踐報告選取了《筷子三千年》作為翻譯實踐對象。在實踐的過程中,以圖式理論為指導(dǎo)對翻譯方法和技巧進(jìn)行分析。圖式理論雖然來源于認(rèn)知心理學(xué),對翻譯實踐卻有著重要的指導(dǎo)作用。在翻譯過程中,譯者首先要調(diào)動自己頭腦中已有的圖式對原文進(jìn)行理解,繼而對其進(jìn)行分析,從而給出相應(yīng)譯文。因此,翻譯的過程實際上是圖式加工過程,翻譯不僅僅是兩種文字和文化之間的轉(zhuǎn)化,也是圖式之間的交流和碰撞。本實踐報告從語言圖式和文化圖式的角度出發(fā),對圖式重合,圖式相異和圖式缺省的情況進(jìn)行了研究和分析,闡釋了圖式重合對翻譯的重要性,并總結(jié)了在圖式相異和圖式缺省情況下相應(yīng)的翻譯方法。其中,圖式相異主要存在于語言層面,對于由語音及字形方面引起的差異,移譯和增譯相組合的翻譯方法非常普遍適用;對于由語法所引起的差異,譯者需要根據(jù)各語言的語法規(guī)律對譯文進(jìn)行適當(dāng)?shù)恼{(diào)整。圖式缺省主要發(fā)生在文化層面,由于文化的差異,存在于一種語言的文化圖式在另一種語...
