蘇珊·巴斯奈特在其出版于1980年的《翻譯研究》一書中對(duì)語言和文化的關(guān)系問題進(jìn)行了探討,所涉及到的文化翻譯觀是其翻譯思想的精髓。她認(rèn)為,翻譯絕不是一個(gè)純粹的語言行為,而深深植根于語言所處的文化之中。在翻譯中,要將文化作為翻譯的基本單位,從而實(shí)現(xiàn)文化與文化的交流。為了實(shí)現(xiàn)這一目標(biāo),譯者要充分發(fā)揮創(chuàng)造性而非拘泥于某一特定的翻譯方法,盡力達(dá)到原文和譯文在文化上的對(duì)等。在中國(guó)文化日益走向世界的今天,地方文化文本的翻譯也為地方文化走出國(guó)門發(fā)揮了重要作用。通過閱讀譯文,外國(guó)讀者能夠了解到不一樣的異國(guó)文化,從而對(duì)中國(guó)有更深刻的見解。因此文化翻譯觀在指導(dǎo)該類型文本的翻譯時(shí)起到了非常重要的作用。本文以蘇珊·巴斯奈特的文化翻譯觀作為指導(dǎo),以《文昌里史跡》作為源文本展開漢譯英的翻譯實(shí)踐。本報(bào)告詳細(xì)闡述了譯前、譯中、譯后等具體翻譯過程,并且通過案例分析,探討在文化翻譯觀的指導(dǎo)下,如何進(jìn)行翻譯策略的選擇及應(yīng)用,從而解決實(shí)際面臨的文化傳遞與接受等問題。本報(bào)告主要從古代官名、特色地名、地方風(fēng)俗文化詞及詩(shī)歌翻譯中汲取文化翻譯經(jīng)驗(yàn),為今后的翻譯提供借鑒。本研究得出以下結(jié)論:一、將文化作為翻譯的基本單位能夠最大程度傳達(dá)文...
