該報告的撰寫基于筆者翻譯由故宮前院長李文儒編寫的《故宮院長說故宮》節(jié)選內(nèi)容的實踐活動。通過此次翻譯實踐,筆者不僅積累了自己的翻譯實踐經(jīng)驗,同時也意識到語言學習永無止境。本報告將從以下五部分介紹翻譯任務的背景,原文作者,原文內(nèi)容和寫作特點,翻譯過程以及在翻譯中遇到的問題:第一部分簡單介紹了翻譯實踐任務,包括實踐的背景,實踐完成時間要求;原文作者的背景以及作者其他文學作品;原文內(nèi)容和寫作特點。第二部分分步介紹了翻譯任務的過程,包括翻譯實踐開始前的準備工作,翻譯過程,譯文校對工作。第三部分詳細介紹了功能對等理論的發(fā)展和尤金·奈達提出的翻譯原則。第四部分通過舉例分析的方式討論功能對等理論在筆者此次翻譯實踐中的應用。詞匯層面,筆者在翻譯專有名詞和成語時參考了詞匯常用表達和平行文本;句式層面,筆者主要討論了長短句翻譯策略,譯者可以根據(jù)邏輯關系拆分長句,或者合并短語成為長句;語言層面,筆者通過分析古文翻譯和描述性文本翻譯,討論了功能對等理論在語篇翻譯層面的運用。第五部分總結了翻譯實踐的意義和報告的不足,同時筆者也希望本報告能為其他譯者在翻譯時提供參考。
