　　 3D打印是一種通過(guò)材料逐層添加制造三維物體的變革性、數(shù)字化增材制造技術(shù)。近年來(lái),3D打印技術(shù)迅猛發(fā)展,已實(shí)際運(yùn)用于建筑、航空航天、醫(yī)療、汽車(chē)、珠寶等日常生活領(lǐng)域,其未來(lái)使用范圍還會(huì)更為廣泛。為了引進(jìn)國(guó)外先進(jìn)技術(shù)并促進(jìn)國(guó)內(nèi)3D打印技術(shù)的發(fā)展,3D打印技術(shù)類文本的翻譯就顯得尤為重要。英國(guó)翻譯家卡特福德(J.C.Catford)于1965年在《翻譯的語(yǔ)言學(xué)理論》中提出了翻譯轉(zhuǎn)換理論,他認(rèn)為,翻譯中的轉(zhuǎn)換就是將原語(yǔ)翻譯成為目的語(yǔ)的過(guò)程中所發(fā)生的各種形式的偏離。卡特福德將翻譯轉(zhuǎn)換分成兩大類:層次轉(zhuǎn)換和范疇轉(zhuǎn)換�？ㄌ馗５路g轉(zhuǎn)換理論最顯著的特點(diǎn)就是旨在語(yǔ)義對(duì)等,這對(duì)于重在意義轉(zhuǎn)換的3D打印技術(shù)文本的翻譯實(shí)踐具有重要的指導(dǎo)作用。本研究基于題為《3D打印失敗——如何診斷和修復(fù)所有桌面3D打印機(jī)打印問(wèn)題》(3D Printing Failures—How to DiagnoseRepair All Desktop 3D Printing Issues)一書(shū),從中選取大約1.5萬(wàn)字作為翻譯實(shí)踐材料。本研究主要包括以下三個(gè)方面:首先介紹了翻譯項(xiàng)目的背景、意義以及準(zhǔn)備過(guò)程;其次闡述了卡特福德的翻譯轉(zhuǎn)換理論的緣起及發(fā)展歷程,并對(duì)層次轉(zhuǎn)換和范疇轉(zhuǎn)換這兩種轉(zhuǎn)換方法進(jìn)行了詳細(xì)論述;最后基于兩種轉(zhuǎn)換理念,結(jié)合該書(shū)中的具體翻譯例證,對(duì)其中出現(xiàn)的問(wèn)題進(jìn)行分析和研究。研究表明,卡特福德的翻譯轉(zhuǎn)換理論對(duì)3D打印技術(shù)文本的英漢翻譯實(shí)踐具有很強(qiáng)的指導(dǎo)意義,在翻譯過(guò)程中,譯者可基于層次轉(zhuǎn)換和范疇轉(zhuǎn)換兩個(gè)視角找到合適的翻譯策略,從而有效提高譯文質(zhì)量。
