【摘要】：本文是一篇英漢翻譯實踐報告,所翻譯的文本選自《遺失他鄉(xiāng)》(Lost in Translation)。這是一部自傳體回憶錄,作者為波蘭裔美國作家,猶太人伊娃.霍夫曼。本書由天堂,流離和新世界三個部分組成,三個部分連成一條完整的故事線。全書整體在描寫、敘事的同時,從一而終貫穿了作者的心靈體悟和感觸,作者的情感真摯充沛,談及的內(nèi)容豐富多樣,涵蓋了文學(xué)、宗教、政治、文化、音樂、哲學(xué)以及語言學(xué)等諸多方面。文中對波蘭、猶太文化及猶太人對音樂的偏愛等部分的細節(jié)描述為讀者打開了一扇了解他國的人文藝術(shù)之窗。此外,作者就移民后對重新掌握一門語言的經(jīng)歷描述讓人印象深刻,語言學(xué)習(xí)的過程講述也能夠引起語言學(xué)習(xí)者的情感共鳴。譯者完成了本書全部內(nèi)容的翻譯,譯文產(chǎn)出近二十萬字,經(jīng)過分析和整理,譯者從中選取了第一部分天堂中有關(guān)音樂的內(nèi)容和第二部分流離作為此次翻譯實踐報告的主體文本。除音樂部分外,第二部分流離是本書作者對移民后困窘的生活學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)歷和心路歷程的記錄。本次翻譯實踐報告共由五個部分組成,重點內(nèi)容體現(xiàn)在難點分析和翻譯策略的使用上,針對詞匯、句法和與語篇三個層面的出現(xiàn)的難點,譯者結(jié)合具體案例進行解讀,提出相對應(yīng)的翻譯策略,以求譯作能夠?qū)崿F(xiàn)忠實和達意。通過本次翻譯實踐,譯者認識到翻譯難題的解決離不開恰當?shù)姆g方法的掌握和使用,與此同時也體會到,大量的翻譯實踐以及對譯文的不斷總結(jié)和反思是提高翻譯水平行之有效的方法。
[Abstract]:This paper is a practical report on English-Chinese translation. The translated text is selected from (Lost in Translation). This is an autobiographical memoir by Eva, a Polish American writer and Jew. Hoffman The book consists of three parts: heaven, exile and the New World. The three parts form a complete story line. While describing and narrating the whole book, it runs through the author's spiritual understanding and feelings from one to another. The author's feelings are sincere and rich, and the contents are rich and varied, covering literature, religion, politics, culture, music, Philosophy and linguistics. The detailed description of Polish Jewish culture and Jewish preference for music opens a window for readers to learn about the arts and humanities of other countries. In addition, the author describes the experience of re-mastering a language after emigration, and the process of language learning can also arouse the emotional resonance of language learners. The translator has completed the translation of all the contents of the book, producing nearly 200000 words. Through analysis and arrangement, the translator selects the music content of the first part of heaven and the second part of displacement as the main text of the translation practice report. In addition to the music part, the second part is the author's record of the poor life experience and mental journey after emigration. The translation practice report consists of five parts, which focus on the analysis of difficulties and the use of translation strategies. According to the difficulties in the three levels of vocabulary, syntax and discourse, the translator interprets them in combination with specific cases. A corresponding translation strategy is proposed in order to achieve fidelity and meaning. Through this translation practice, the translator realizes that the solution of translation problems cannot be solved without the mastery and use of appropriate translation methods. A large number of translation practices, as well as continuous summary and reflection on the translation, are effective ways to improve the translation level.
