【摘要】：《上帝的玩笑》是瑪格麗特.勞倫斯的重要作品之一。1966年問世的《上帝的玩笑》講述的是三十四歲的單身小學(xué)教師雷切爾·卡梅隆困在自我的牢籠中的故事。然而縱觀以往對其作品的研究,筆者發(fā)現(xiàn)國內(nèi)譯界對這部小說的翻譯研究很少。本文從比利時語用學(xué)家杰夫.維索爾倫提出的順應(yīng)論的視角,以筆者對瑪格麗特.勞倫斯的小說《上帝的玩笑》的翻譯探討案例翻譯中所用的翻譯方法,并做相關(guān)報告。順應(yīng)論的核心在于強調(diào)語言使用是一個動態(tài)順應(yīng)的過程,它的四個研究維度是:順應(yīng)的語境相關(guān)因素;順應(yīng)的結(jié)構(gòu)對象;順應(yīng)的動態(tài)過程;順應(yīng)的意識突顯度。這四個方面能夠很好地聯(lián)系了語言使用過程中的語言、社會、文化和認(rèn)知因素,這四個方面也正是小說翻譯中所涉及的幾類因素。因此該理論可以用來指導(dǎo)對《上帝的玩笑》的翻譯研究。本文試圖利用順應(yīng)論為理論基礎(chǔ),從詞語、句法和超句法三個層面結(jié)合常見的翻譯方法如分譯法、詞類裝換法等,來研究譯者在整個翻譯過程中是如何順應(yīng)各種因素做出最終選擇的,并發(fā)現(xiàn),順應(yīng)論對文學(xué)翻譯研究具有較強的可操作性和指導(dǎo)性,能夠使譯文更為流暢、忠實于原文。
[Abstract]:The joke of God is Margaret. The joke of God, published in 1966, tells the story of Rachel Cameron, a single elementary school teacher at the age of 34, trapped in his own cage. However, looking at the previous studies on his works, the author finds that there are few studies on the translation of the novel in domestic translation circles. This paper is based on the Belgian pragmatist Jeff. From the point of view of adaptation theory proposed by Visorun, the author analyzes Marguerite. The translation of Lawrence's novel the joke of God explores the translation methods used in case translation and makes relevant reports. The core of adaptation theory is to emphasize that language use is a process of dynamic adaptation. Its four dimensions are: context-related factors of adaptation, structural objects of adaptation, dynamic process of adaptation and awareness salience of adaptation. These four aspects can well relate the linguistic, social, cultural and cognitive factors in the process of language use. These four aspects are also some of the factors involved in the translation of novels. Therefore, this theory can be used to guide the translation study of God's joke. Based on the theory of adaptation, this paper attempts to combine the three levels of word, syntax and hyper-syntax with common translation methods, such as sub-translation, part-of-speech replacement and so on. It is found that adaptation theory has a strong maneuverability and guidance in the study of literary translation and can make the translation more fluent and faithful to the original text.
