【摘要】：本文是一篇英譯漢翻譯實踐報告。該報告的源語文本選自英國作家約翰·理查森的游記《灰色流浪者》。它講述了一對英格蘭的夫婦八個月內(nèi)游歷美國、澳大利亞和馬來西亞的故事。此篇翻譯實踐報告是基于第一章至第十一章的譯文而撰寫的。此篇翻譯實踐報告的目的有兩個:一是通過總結(jié)翻譯過程中的難點及策略來提高翻譯水平;二是通過撰寫翻譯實踐報告來為日后游記的翻譯提供一些參考和借鑒。報告描述了譯前準(zhǔn)備、翻譯過程和譯后審校這三個階段。報告從有關(guān)民俗的文化負(fù)載詞、較難的合成形容詞、定語從句、以及長句中邏輯關(guān)系的安排這幾個方面闡釋了翻譯的難點。分析了這些難點之所以產(chǎn)生的原因,并提出相應(yīng)的翻譯方法。翻譯文化負(fù)載詞的主要方法是增添腳注,這有助于文化內(nèi)涵的傳遞。運(yùn)用漢語四字格來翻譯較難的合成形容詞可以提高譯文的質(zhì)量和美感�；诙ㄕZ從句的結(jié)構(gòu)特點和漢語的表達(dá)習(xí)慣,主要采取的翻譯方法有合譯法和分譯法。對于長句中邏輯關(guān)系的安排,主要采用的翻譯方法有順句操作法和句式重組法�；谥鲝木涞拈L短和句中的邏輯關(guān)系,"before"引導(dǎo)的時間狀語從句的主要譯法是轉(zhuǎn)換法。這些翻譯方法的使用有助于準(zhǔn)確傳達(dá)原文信息和風(fēng)格,再現(xiàn)原文魅力和風(fēng)采。最后,此篇翻譯報告對翻譯難點和翻譯經(jīng)驗進(jìn)行了歸納。通過此次翻譯實踐,筆者認(rèn)識到,譯文的忠實、流暢、出彩與翻譯方法的選擇關(guān)系密切。在《灰色流浪者》中,以上翻譯方法的使用有助于在忠實原文的同時,使譯文符合漢語的邏輯順序和表達(dá)習(xí)慣。
[Abstract]:This paper is a practical report on English-Chinese translation. The source language of the report is taken from British writer John Richardson's travels Gray Rangers. It tells the story of an English couple traveling the United States, Australia and Malaysia in eight months. This translation practice report is based on the translation of chapters I to 11. The purpose of this translation practice report is twofold: one is to improve the translation level by summarizing the difficulties and strategies in the process of translation; the other is to provide some reference and reference for the translation of travel notes in the future by writing the translation practice report. The report describes the three stages of pre-translation preparation, translation process and post-translation revision. The report explains the difficulties in translation from the aspects of culture-loaded words about folklore, difficult compound adjectives, attributive clauses, and the arrangement of logical relations in long sentences. This paper analyzes the causes of these difficulties and puts forward corresponding translation methods. The main method of translating culture-loaded words is to add footnotes, which is helpful to the transmission of cultural connotations. Using four-word Ge Lai to translate difficult adjectives can improve the quality and aesthetic sense of the translation. Based on the structural characteristics of attributive clauses and the habit of Chinese expression, the main translation methods are co-translation and sub-translation. As for the arrangement of logical relations in long sentences, the main translation methods are the operation of sequence sentences and the recombination of sentence patterns. Based on the length of the subject clause and the logical relation in the sentence, the main translation method of the time adverbial clause guided by "before" is the transformation method. The use of these translation methods helps to convey the original information and style accurately and to reproduce the charm and grace of the original text. Finally, the translation report summarizes the translation difficulties and translation experience. Through this translation practice, the author realizes that the faithfulness, fluency and brilliance of the translation are closely related to the choice of translation methods. In "Grey Rangers", the above translation method is helpful to make the translation conform to the Chinese logical order and expression habit while faithful to the original text.
