【摘要】：《小婦人》是美國作家露意莎·梅·奧爾柯特最著名的作品。該作品通過描述南北戰(zhàn)爭期間馬奇一家的生活與四位女兒的愛情故事,反映了當(dāng)時(shí)美國女性對(duì)職業(yè)和家庭選擇的心聲,為美國超驗(yàn)主義的發(fā)展做出杰出貢獻(xiàn)。本文從語用學(xué)的角度出發(fā),以格賴斯的合作原則為理論基礎(chǔ),用個(gè)案分析的方式,討論《小婦人》中人物違反合作原則后,所產(chǎn)生的會(huì)話含義和人物的潛在意圖,為人物語言研究提供新的視角。本文回顧了國內(nèi)外關(guān)于合作原則以及小說《小婦人》的研究,從而說明本論文以新的視角—違反合作原則對(duì)《小婦人》進(jìn)行會(huì)話含義分析的可行性。論文闡述了會(huì)話含義的提出和定義,探討了會(huì)話含義與合作原作關(guān)系,簡述了本研究所運(yùn)用的理論框架—格萊斯的合作原則以及其四項(xiàng)準(zhǔn)則,并用具體例子揭示了違反合作原則所產(chǎn)生的會(huì)話含義。本研究從《小婦人》中選出45個(gè)典型對(duì)話,詳細(xì)分析了其中違背數(shù)量準(zhǔn)則、質(zhì)量準(zhǔn)則、關(guān)系準(zhǔn)則、方式準(zhǔn)則、所產(chǎn)生的會(huì)話含義。本論文得出結(jié)論:首先,格賴斯的合作原則理論及其四大準(zhǔn)則可以有效地運(yùn)用于人物話語分析;其次,從45個(gè)典型對(duì)話的分析發(fā)現(xiàn),人物會(huì)話中故意違反合作原則,會(huì)表達(dá)不同的會(huì)話含義,傳達(dá)隱含的會(huì)話意圖。第三,本文從小說違反四大原則的話語分析中發(fā)現(xiàn),違反數(shù)量原則和方式原則要超出其它兩項(xiàng)原則;通過統(tǒng)計(jì)四大主人公違反合作原則的次數(shù)中發(fā)現(xiàn),性格越復(fù)雜,違反合作原則更頻繁。最后,本文通過分析該小說中的會(huì)話含義,從語用學(xué)的角度揭示《小婦人》中人物性格和小說主題。
[Abstract]:Little woman is one of the most famous works of American writer Louisa May Alcott. By describing the life of the Marchis and their four daughters during the Civil War, the novel reflects the voice of American women on their career and family choices, and makes outstanding contributions to the development of transcendentalism in the United States. From the perspective of pragmatics, based on Grice's cooperative principle and case study, this paper discusses the conversational implicature and the potential intention of the characters after they violate the cooperative principle in Little woman. To provide a new perspective for the study of character language. This paper reviews the domestic and foreign studies on the principle of cooperation and the novel "Little woman", which shows the feasibility of this thesis to analyze the conversational implicature of "Little woman" from a new perspective-violation of the principle of cooperation. This paper expounds the definition of conversational implicature, probes into the relationship between conversational implicature and the original works of cooperation, and briefly describes the cooperative principles and four principles of Grice, which is the theoretical framework used in this research. A concrete example is given to reveal the conversational implicature generated by violating the principle of cooperation. In this study, 45 typical dialogues were selected from Little Women, and the conversational implicature produced by violating the quantity criterion, the quality criterion, the relation criterion, the mode criterion and the resulting conversational implicature were analyzed in detail. Firstly, Grice's cooperative principle theory and its four principles can be effectively applied to the discourse analysis of characters. Secondly, from the analysis of 45 typical dialogues, it is found that the characters deliberately violate the cooperative principle in conversation. Can express different conversational implicature, convey implicit conversational intention. Thirdly, this paper finds out from the discourse analysis that the four principles of the novel violate the principle of quantity and the principle of way, and finds that the more complex the character is, the more complex the character is by counting the number of times that the four protagonists violate the principle of cooperation. Violations of the principle of cooperation are more frequent. Finally, by analyzing the conversational implicature in the novel, this paper reveals the characters and the theme of the novel from the perspective of pragmatics.
