【摘要】：唐·德里羅是美國(guó)當(dāng)代最優(yōu)秀的小說家之一。他與托馬斯·品欽、菲利普·羅斯以及科爾梅克·麥卡錫并稱為美國(guó)當(dāng)代四大文豪。到目前為止,他共創(chuàng)作了15部小說,并因此獲得了諸多獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。他2007年出版的小說《墜落的人》是他最重要的作品之一。這部小說出版以來受到了國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)術(shù)界的關(guān)注。學(xué)者們主要從敘事學(xué)、創(chuàng)傷理論以及現(xiàn)代性等角度研究這部小說。本論文運(yùn)用薩特的存在主義理論對(duì)該部小說進(jìn)行了較為深入的探究。從薩特的存在主義視角剖析這部小說的研究成果并不多見。這是本論文的創(chuàng)新之處。《墜落的人》被稱為9 · 11事件小說定義之作。小說主要描述了 9 · 11事件之后普通美國(guó)家庭所經(jīng)歷的焦慮、虛無等精神方面的困擾。小說呈現(xiàn)出了 9·11后美國(guó)普通民眾的生存狀態(tài)。本論文首先從薩特存在主義的視角分析了小說人物所面臨的生存危機(jī)。這些人物包括災(zāi)難幸存者,災(zāi)難見證者以及災(zāi)難制造者。論文還解讀了造成他們危機(jī)的原因。他們的生存危機(jī)主要來自婚姻、家庭和情感,9·11事件是造成他們精神危機(jī)的主要原因。在面對(duì)這些生存危機(jī)時(shí),他們表現(xiàn)出了不同程度的焦慮、過度敏感和恐懼等等情緒。這些情緒使每個(gè)人的行為變得異常。本論文進(jìn)而探究了這些人物為了擺脫危機(jī)所做出的自由選擇。最后,本論文得出的結(jié)論是:《墜落的人》展現(xiàn)了美國(guó)普通民眾在911之后的迷茫、焦慮和絕望,同時(shí)小說也暗含了人們?cè)诮^望中尋找生存的意義并給人以精神慰藉。通過對(duì)受害者自我重建的分析,本論文試圖探索9 ·11事件之后仍無法擺脫生存危機(jī)的普通民眾的拯救之路。通過對(duì)恐怖分子在襲擊之前的生存狀態(tài)分析,本論文試圖勸說人們忘掉過去的仇恨,開始嶄新的人生。
[Abstract]:Don Delilo is one of the best novelists in contemporary America. Along with Thomas Pynchin, Philip Ross and Cormeque McCarthy, he is known as the four greatest contemporary American writers. So far, he has written 15 novels and won many awards. His 2007 novel fall Man is one of his most important works. Since the publication of this novel, it has attracted the attention of the academic circles at home and abroad. Scholars mainly study this novel from narratology, trauma theory and modernity. This thesis uses Sartre's existentialism theory to probe into the novel deeply. It is rare to analyze the research results of this novel from Sartre's existentialism perspective. This is the innovation of this thesis. The falling Man is called the 9 / 11 novel definition. The novel mainly describes the psychological problems experienced by ordinary American families after 9 / 11. The novel presents the living state of ordinary American people after 9 / 11. This thesis first analyzes the existential crisis faced by the characters from the perspective of Sartre existentialism. These include disaster survivors, disaster witnesses and disaster makers. The paper also explains the causes of their crisis. Their survival crisis mainly comes from marriage, family and emotional events are the main causes of their mental crisis. In the face of these existential crises, they showed varying degrees of anxiety, hypersensitivity and fear. These emotions make everyone's behavior unusual. The thesis then explores the free choices these characters make to get rid of the crisis. Finally, the conclusion of this paper is that the falling Man shows the confusion, anxiety and despair of ordinary Americans after 9 / 11, and the novel also implies the meaning of people's survival in desperation and gives people spiritual comfort. Based on the analysis of self-reconstruction of victims, this paper attempts to explore the rescue of ordinary people who can not escape from the crisis of survival after 9 / 11. Based on the analysis of terrorist survival before the attack, this paper tries to persuade people to forget the hatred of the past and start a new life.
