順應(yīng)論視角下中英文企業(yè)年報(bào)董事長致辭對比研究

【摘要】:2016年,《財(cái)富》中文版評選出了年度中國企業(yè)500強(qiáng),中國企業(yè)發(fā)展蒸蒸日上,許多企業(yè)也陸續(xù)在海外上市,中國企業(yè)的影響力越來越大。本文從年度中國企業(yè)500強(qiáng)中隨機(jī)選取了來自各行各業(yè)的50家企業(yè),以其中文版和英文版董事長致辭語篇為研究對象。董事長致辭是一種正式的商務(wù)文件,因此內(nèi)容和形式都經(jīng)過了嚴(yán)格的審核。它是企業(yè)年度報(bào)告的濃縮和精華,用于披露企業(yè)財(cái)年中的公司經(jīng)營狀況和財(cái)務(wù)信息,同時(shí)也是董事長向外界宣傳和溝通的重要媒介。目前,中國海外上市公司的年度報(bào)告還未發(fā)展成熟,希望該研究能為中國海外上市公司撰寫中英文董事長致辭提供一點(diǎn)啟發(fā)。本文以維索爾倫的順應(yīng)論為理論基礎(chǔ),運(yùn)用定性研究和定量研究對中英文董事長致辭中語境順應(yīng)的過程和結(jié)構(gòu)順應(yīng)的特點(diǎn)進(jìn)行對比研究。研究發(fā)現(xiàn):(一)在語境順應(yīng)方面,中英文董事長致辭對心理世界的順應(yīng)大致相同,表現(xiàn)在董事長對自己和員工、投資者和社會大眾的心理的順應(yīng)。順應(yīng)主要是通過向員工、股東和管理層致謝,向社會大眾展示企業(yè)承擔(dān)的社會責(zé)任。同時(shí),通過列舉業(yè)績榮譽(yù)和巧妙回應(yīng)危機(jī)來維護(hù)企業(yè)形象,爭取股東的信任。此外,中英文董事長致辭對社交世界的順應(yīng),體現(xiàn)在選用中西方文化中的詩歌和名言警句的文化因素和根據(jù)各國政策思想、法律法規(guī)的政治因素順應(yīng)各自讀者的認(rèn)知水平和閱讀習(xí)慣;(二)在結(jié)構(gòu)順應(yīng)方面,本文主要從詞匯、句法和語篇三個(gè)層面分析中英文版董事長致辭順應(yīng)的不同特點(diǎn)。從詞匯角度講,英文版董事長致辭大量使用第一人稱代詞,加強(qiáng)了讀者與公司的關(guān)系;而中文版則頻繁使用修飾語,更加容易引起讀者的興趣和共鳴。從句法角度講,英文版董事長致辭簡單句較多,且較少使用被動語態(tài)。簡單句短小易讀,能讓讀者迅速了解公司信息,而較少使用被動語態(tài),可以使作者更加積極主動的展示公司業(yè)績。相反,中文版則更多使用并列復(fù)合句,用并列結(jié)構(gòu)傳達(dá)強(qiáng)烈的情感。從語篇角度講,英文版董事長致辭重事實(shí)數(shù)據(jù),語篇結(jié)構(gòu)更加簡潔嚴(yán)謹(jǐn),而中文版則使用多種修辭手法,特別是排比和用典充分傳達(dá)董事長的意圖,從而使文章具有很強(qiáng)的號召力。本研究從順應(yīng)論的角度系統(tǒng)探討了中英文企業(yè)年報(bào)董事長致辭,有助于我們更好的從語用學(xué)角度深度解讀該文體,同時(shí)也有助于中國海外上市公司撰寫出優(yōu)秀的中英文董事長致辭。
[Abstract]:In 2016, the Chinese version of Fortune selected the top 500 Chinese companies of the year. The development of Chinese enterprises is booming, and many enterprises have been listed overseas one after another. Chinese enterprises are becoming more and more influential. This paper randomly selected 50 enterprises from all kinds of industries from the top 500 companies in China. The chairman's speech is a formal business document, so the content and form have been strictly examined. It is the essence of the annual report of the enterprise. It is also an important medium for the chairman to publicize and communicate with the outside world. At present, the annual report of China's overseas listed companies is not yet mature. It is hoped that this study will provide some inspiration for Chinese overseas listed companies to write speeches by Chinese and English chairmen. This thesis is based on Visorun's theory of adaptation. Using qualitative and quantitative studies, this paper makes a comparative study of the characteristics of contextual adaptation and structural adaptation in Chinese and English chairman's speeches. The Chinese and English chairman's speech to the psychological world is roughly the same, which is manifested in the chairman's psychological adaptation to himself and his employees, investors and the general public, mainly by thanking the employees, shareholders and management. At the same time, by enumerating achievements and honours and skillfully responding to the crisis to maintain the image of the company and win the trust of shareholders. In addition, the Chinese and English chairman's speech to the social world, The cultural factors embodied in the selection of poems and aphorisms from Chinese and western cultures and the political factors of laws and regulations conform to the readers' cognitive level and reading habits according to the policy thoughts of various countries. (2) in terms of structural adaptation, This paper analyzes the different characteristics of the Chinese and English versions of the chairman's speech from the lexical, syntactic and textual perspectives. From the lexical point of view, the English version of the chairman's speech uses a lot of first-person pronouns, which strengthens the relationship between the reader and the company. The Chinese version, on the other hand, frequently uses modifiers, which are more likely to arouse the reader's interest and resonance. From a syntactic point of view, the chairman of the English version has more simple sentences and less passive voice. By allowing readers to quickly understand company information and using less passive voice, the author can show the company's performance more proactively. On the contrary, the Chinese version uses more juxtaposition sentences. From a textual point of view, the chairman's speech in English emphasizes the facts, the structure of the text is more concise and rigorous, and the Chinese version uses a variety of rhetorical devices. In particular, the speech of chairman of Chinese and English annual reports is discussed systematically from the angle of adaptation theory, especially the intention of chairman of the board of directors is conveyed fully by comparison and usage, so that the article has a very strong appeal. It helps us to better understand the style from the perspective of pragmatics, and also helps Chinese overseas listed companies to write excellent speeches in both Chinese and English.
