基于平行語料庫的中國兒童文學(xué)語言特征及其英譯研究

【摘要】:兒童文學(xué)是文學(xué)研究的重要領(lǐng)域。兒童文學(xué)的受眾是兒童,描摹的是兒童為主要參與者的時(shí)空,其語言也具有兒童化的特征。隨著中國兒童文學(xué)"走出去"腳步的加快,中國兒童文學(xué)國際影響力也日益增加,這帶來了兒童文學(xué)翻譯市場的日漸蓬勃和兒童文學(xué)翻譯實(shí)踐的日趨豐厚。兒童語言特征的轉(zhuǎn)換是兒童文學(xué)翻譯語言的重要議題。上世紀(jì)90年代以來,逐漸成熟的語料庫研究方法已經(jīng)成為一種研究范式。本文以中國兒童文學(xué)的語言特征和英譯為落點(diǎn),采用基于語料庫的方法,分析中國兒童文學(xué)及其英譯的語言特征,同時(shí)利用平行語料庫,分析這些特征異同的來源,分析兒童文學(xué)翻譯的特點(diǎn)。本文建立中國兒童文學(xué)英譯平行語料庫。然后,利用自建的中國兒童文學(xué)英譯平行語料庫,先將其源語部分與與漢語非兒童文學(xué)語料庫進(jìn)行對比,描述中國兒童文學(xué)作品的語言特征;再將其譯語部分與非兒童文學(xué)譯語庫進(jìn)行對比,描述譯語體現(xiàn)出的語言特征。對于各個(gè)層面的源語特征和譯語特征的異同,進(jìn)行基于平行語料庫的考察,研究源語特征在譯成英語的過程中的具體翻譯方式,從翻譯方式、源語影響、翻譯共性等角度對這些異同進(jìn)行分析和解釋。就中國兒童文學(xué)的語言特征而言,本文從宏觀至微觀、從詞匯到句子,對比了中國兒童文學(xué)英譯平行語料庫源語部分和參照語料庫多個(gè)層面的語言特征。綜合來看,兒童文學(xué)以"兒童"作為受眾,為了滿足他們的閱讀需求,語言上有"兒童化"的特征。這種傾向體現(xiàn)在形式和意義這兩個(gè)互相交融的層面。形式上,兒童文學(xué)文本更具簡單性;意義上,兒童文學(xué)文本更為具象和純真。就中國兒童文學(xué)的英譯的語言特征而言,源語形式和意義上的特征在譯語中大都得以體現(xiàn)。通過對比對兒童文學(xué)譯語與參照語料庫進(jìn)行對比,本文發(fā)現(xiàn)譯語滲透了源語特征,即譯語亦具有簡單化的形式特征和具象純真化的意義特征。通過基于平行語料庫的考察,本文發(fā)現(xiàn)兒童文學(xué)翻譯方式亦有簡化特征。從某種程度上,可以將兒童文學(xué)翻譯的方式歸納為一種受源語形式的簡單性和內(nèi)容的具象純真性影響下的更簡化的翻譯方式。
[Abstract]:Children's literature is an important field of literary research. The audience of children's literature is children, describing the time and space in which children are the main participants, and the language of children is also characterized by childrenization. With the acceleration of Chinese children's literature's "going out" step, The international influence of Chinese children's literature is also increasing day by day. This has brought about the flourishing market of children's literature translation and the increasingly rich practice of children's literature translation. The conversion of children's language characteristics is an important topic in children's literature translation. Since -10s, The maturing corpus research method has become a kind of research paradigm. This paper analyzes the linguistic characteristics of Chinese children's literature and its English translation by using the corpus-based approach, taking the language characteristics and translation of Chinese children's literature as the focus of the study, and using a corpus-based approach to analyze the linguistic characteristics of Chinese children's literature and its English translation. At the same time, we use the parallel corpus to analyze the source of these similarities and differences and the characteristics of children's literature translation. This paper establishes a parallel corpus of Chinese children's literature translation from English to English. Then, we use the self-built parallel corpus of Chinese children's literature translation into English. The source language part is compared with the Chinese non-children 's literature corpus to describe the language characteristics of the Chinese children's literature works, and then the target language part is compared with the non-children 's literature translation corpus. This paper describes the linguistic features of the target language. For the similarities and differences between the source language features and the target language features at various levels, a study based on the parallel corpus is carried out to study the specific translation methods of the source language features in the process of translating into English, from the perspective of the translation methods. In terms of the linguistic characteristics of Chinese children's literature, this paper analyzes and explains these similarities and differences from the perspective of source language influence and translation generality, from macro to micro, from vocabulary to sentence. This paper compares the language characteristics of the source language part of the parallel corpus and the reference corpus of Chinese children's literature. In order to satisfy their reading needs, children's literature takes "children" as its audience. Language has the characteristic of "childrenization". This tendency is reflected in the two intermingling levels of form and meaning. In form, the text of children's literature is more simple; in meaning, The text of children's literature is more figurative and pure. In terms of the linguistic features of the English translation of Chinese children's literature, the features of the source language form and meaning are mostly reflected in the target language. By comparing the target language of children's literature with the reference corpus, the author compares the source language with the reference corpus. This paper finds that the target language permeates the source language features, that is, the target language also has the features of simplified form and pure meaning. This paper finds that the translation of children's literature also has simplified features. To some extent, it can be concluded that the translation of children's literature can be reduced to a more simplified translation under the influence of the simplicity of the source language form and the concrete innocence of the content.
