【摘要】：美國華裔作家譚恩美迄今共出版了六部小說,兩部兒童文學(xué)及一部散文集,被譽(yù)為繼湯亭亭之后美國華裔文學(xué)的又一個(gè)高峰,同時(shí)也被中外評論界認(rèn)為是將美國華裔文學(xué)引入主流文學(xué)的領(lǐng)軍人物。作為第二代美國華裔,依托其獨(dú)特的華裔身份及文化背景,譚恩美小說中的中國形象及中國故事吸引著中外讀者的目光。譚恩美小說以華裔女性敘事為主線,依托母親的記憶以及自己的想象對中國想象進(jìn)行改寫和重構(gòu)。本論文主要運(yùn)用比較文學(xué)形象學(xué)理論對《喜福會(huì)》、《灶神之妻》、《靈感女孩》以及《沉沒之魚》四部作品所呈現(xiàn)的中國形象進(jìn)行解讀。同時(shí)借助后殖民主義文學(xué)批評中薩義德所提出的“東方主義”理論對譚恩美小說中形象構(gòu)建方法及構(gòu)建原因進(jìn)行剖析,力圖全面深刻挖掘美國華裔女作家書寫、改寫中國文化的目的、意義及內(nèi)涵,為廣大讀者賞析美國華裔如何在美國多元文化社會(huì)中建立自己的民族文化身份提供新的視角。本論文主要包括六個(gè)章節(jié)。第一章詳細(xì)介紹譚恩美的個(gè)人經(jīng)歷、創(chuàng)作背景、代表作品,并闡釋本論文的研究目的。第二章為文獻(xiàn)綜述部分,從不同視角概括所選的四部譚恩美小說的研究動(dòng)態(tài)和發(fā)展趨勢,并在章節(jié)末尾簡要概述以往研究的不足及本論文研究的意義。第三章為所選理論框架,共分為兩個(gè)部分。第一部分是關(guān)于形象學(xué)理論起源、發(fā)展以及相關(guān)理論的介紹;第二部分為東方主義理論介紹。第四章為論文的核心部分。該章節(jié)分為三個(gè)部分,結(jié)合譚恩美四部作品分析歸納出其筆下的三類中國形象。第一部分以《喜福會(huì)》和《灶神之妻》為研究文本,譚恩美采用重寫中國歷史的方式構(gòu)建出苦難中國以及父權(quán)制壓迫下的中國形象;第二部分為烏托邦的中國形象,該部分分別以《喜福會(huì)》、《靈感女孩》和《沉沒之魚》為主要文本研究對象,通過中西文化的矛盾對立,譚恩美在其作品中塑造出了一個(gè)充滿異域風(fēng)情的地緣中國;通過解構(gòu)西方人眼中中國人的“刻板效應(yīng)”,譚恩美構(gòu)建出了全新的中國女性形象;第三部分為神秘的中國形象,該部分借助中華傳統(tǒng)文化所傳承下來的文化符號(hào)——鬼神故事、神話人物、迷信活動(dòng)等,通過對這些古老中國形象的的重新編織,傳達(dá)出譚恩美宣揚(yáng)中國文化的初衷;第五章主要是對中國形象構(gòu)建原因的反思,總結(jié)起來,譚恩美作品中對于虛實(shí)的中國形象的構(gòu)建主要出于三個(gè):一是作為華裔美國群體在主流社會(huì)下構(gòu)建少數(shù)族裔身份的需求;二是對“東方主義”的解構(gòu)及西方社會(huì)長期對中國人“刻板效應(yīng)”的反抗;三是全球化背景下融入多元文化社會(huì)的需要。第六章為總結(jié)部分,總結(jié)論文的主要部分指出譚恩美筆下中國形象構(gòu)建的意義,并列出本論文研究的局限性和不足之處。
[Abstract]:Chinese American writer Amy Tan has published six novels, two children's literature and a collection of essays, which is regarded as another peak of Chinese American literature after Kingston. At the same time, it is regarded by the Chinese and foreign critics as the leader in introducing Chinese American literature into mainstream literature. As the second generation of Chinese Americans, it relies on its unique Chinese identity and cultural background. The Chinese image and the Chinese story in Amy Tan's novels attract the attention of Chinese and foreign readers. Amy Tan's novels take Chinese women's narration as the main line. Based on the memory of the mother and his own imagination to rewrite and reconstruct the Chinese imagination. This paper mainly uses the theory of comparative literature image to "Joy Luck Club", "Kitchen God's wife". "inspiration Girl" and "sunken Fish" four works presented by the Chinese image of interpretation. At the same time, with the help of the postcolonial literary criticism of Saeed's "Orientalism" The theory of Tan En-mei 's novel image construction method and construction reasons are analyzed. Trying to fully and profoundly excavate the writing of Chinese American women writers and rewrite the purpose, significance and connotation of Chinese culture. This thesis mainly includes six chapters. The first chapter introduces Amy Tan's personal experience in detail. The second chapter is the literature review part, which summarizes the research trends and development trends of the four selected novels from different perspectives. At the end of the chapter, it briefly summarizes the shortcomings of previous studies and the significance of this paper. Chapter three is the theoretical framework selected, divided into two parts. The first part is about the origin of image theory. Development and the introduction of relevant theories; The second part is the introduction of Orientalism. Chapter 4th is the core part of the thesis. This chapter is divided into three parts. Combined with Tan Enmei's four works, three kinds of Chinese images are summarized. The first part takes Joy Luck Club and Kitchen God's wife as the research texts. Amy Tan uses the way of rewriting Chinese history to construct the image of China under the oppression of patriarchy and suffering. The second part is the Chinese image of Utopia, which takes the Joy Luck Club, the inspiration Girl and the sunken Fish as the main text research objects, through the contradiction between Chinese and Western culture. In her works, Tan En-mei molded a geo-China full of exotic customs. By deconstructing the stereotype of Chinese in the eyes of Westerners, Tan En-mei constructs a new image of Chinese women. The third part is the mysterious image of China, this part by virtue of the traditional Chinese culture inherited from the cultural symbols-ghost stories, mythical characters, superstition activities, through the re-weaving of these ancient Chinese images. Convey Tan Enmei's original intention of propagating Chinese culture; Chapter 5th is the reflection of the reasons for the construction of China's image, summed up. There are three main reasons for the construction of the fictitious Chinese image in Amy Tan's works: first, the need to construct the ethnic minority identity in the mainstream society as a Chinese-American group; Second, the deconstruction of "Orientalism" and the resistance of western society to the "stereotype effect" of Chinese people for a long time; The third is the need to integrate into the multicultural society under the background of globalization. Chapter 6th is the summary part, the main part of the summary paper points out the significance of Tan En-mei 's Chinese image construction. The limitations and shortcomings of this paper are also listed.
