霍米巴巴后殖民理論視域下莫里森三部小說中的文化身份研究

【摘要】:全球化語境下的少數(shù)族裔文化身份認(rèn)同問題因其復(fù)雜的社會性、歷史性和政治性逐漸成為近年來人文社科等諸多領(lǐng)域研究的核心議題。后殖民理論作為當(dāng)下學(xué)術(shù)研究中直接對話殖民關(guān)系的多元文化理論,一直致力于研究西方國家與第三世界散居族裔之間的政治差異與文化沖突。后殖民主義學(xué)者霍米·巴巴始終關(guān)注并深知文化差異與沖突下少數(shù)族裔的身份訴求與重塑困境,其中文化身份建構(gòu)是其理論的核心關(guān)注點(diǎn),而此議題也是美國非裔女作家諾貝爾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)得主托尼·莫里森文學(xué)創(chuàng)作一直秉承的重要主題。本文依托霍米·巴巴的后殖民理論,通過對托尼·莫里森《最藍(lán)的眼睛》、《所羅門之歌》、《寵兒》三部小說的文本細(xì)讀和對比分析,從被殖民者的視角探討了不同階層的非裔美國人在不同社會歷史背景下文化身份重構(gòu)方式的延續(xù)性和差異性,論證了自我認(rèn)同、家庭關(guān)愛和黑人社區(qū)的凝聚力等因素在黑人主體性重塑過程中的相互作用以及非裔美國人如何在巴巴式的第三空間中消解殖民二元對立模式,解構(gòu)白人文化霸權(quán),重構(gòu)出一種混雜而更加開放健康的黑人文化身份。本文重點(diǎn)通過橫向和縱向?qū)θ啃≌f中三位主人公失敗,單一及混雜文化身份重構(gòu)方式的對比研究,歸納出了影響非裔美國人文化身份重構(gòu)的多重因素,并得出結(jié)論:后殖民語境中的黑人文化身份重構(gòu)是一種持續(xù)變化的流動(dòng)過程。莫里森通過解構(gòu)白人文化霸權(quán),挑戰(zhàn)恒定、單一的文化身份概念,在霍米·巴巴式的第三空間中重新建立了全新的動(dòng)態(tài)殖民話語機(jī)制,重構(gòu)出了一種異質(zhì)的、流動(dòng)的、協(xié)商的、混雜的文化身份,實(shí)現(xiàn)了被殖民者權(quán)力話語的言說。本文將霍米·巴巴后殖民理論與黑人文化身份結(jié)合起來,通過解構(gòu)西方殖民話語悖謬,重新書寫殖民話語,重構(gòu)了非裔美國人的真實(shí)形象。本文的研究方法與結(jié)論為已有的后殖民研究提供了一定的補(bǔ)充,同時(shí)也對其他少數(shù)族裔研究具有一定的參考價(jià)值。此外,在全球化語境下研究非裔文學(xué)能夠幫助我們更好的理解當(dāng)下全球移民問題和多元文化共存時(shí)存在的身份焦慮與重塑困境,同時(shí)也督促我們自我反省,學(xué)會如何求同存異,此研究具有一定的現(xiàn)實(shí)意義。
[Abstract]:The problem of cultural identity of ethnic minorities in the context of globalization is due to its complex sociality. In recent years, history and politics have gradually become the core topic of research in humanities, social sciences and other fields. Post-colonial theory is a multicultural theory of direct dialogue and colonial relationship in current academic research. He's been working on political differences and cultural conflicts between Western countries and the third World diaspora. Homi Baba, a postcolonial scholar, has always been concerned and well aware of cultural differences and the identity claims of minorities in conflict. Reshaping the predicament. The construction of cultural identity is the core concern of its theory. This issue is also an important theme that Tony Morrison, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in the United States, has been following. This article relies on Homi Baba's postcolonial theory. By reading and comparing the texts of Tony Morrison's Blue eyes, Song of Solomon, beloved, three novels. From the perspective of the colonized people, this paper discusses the continuity and difference of the cultural identity reconstruction methods of African Americans of different strata in different social and historical backgrounds, and demonstrates their self-identity. The interaction of family care and the cohesion of black communities in the process of remolding the black subjectivity and how African Americans resolve the dualistic pattern of colonial opposition in the third space of Baba style. Deconstructing white cultural hegemony and reconstructing a mixed and more open and healthy black cultural identity this paper focuses on the failure of the three protagonists in the three novels both horizontally and vertically. The contrastive study on the ways of reconstructing the identity of single and mixed cultures induces the multiple factors that affect the reconstruction of the cultural identity of African Americans. It is concluded that the reconstruction of black cultural identity in post-colonial context is a constantly changing process. Morrison challenges the concept of constant and single cultural identity by deconstructing white cultural hegemony. In Homi Baba's third space, the new dynamic colonial discourse mechanism was re-established, reconstructing a heterogeneous, fluid, negotiated, mixed cultural identity. This paper combines Homi Baba's postcolonial theory with black cultural identity and rewrites colonial discourse by deconstructing the paradox of western colonial discourse. Reconstruction of the true image of African Americans. The research methods and conclusions of this paper provide a certain complement to the existing post-colonial research, but also have a certain reference value for other minority research. In the context of globalization, the study of African-American literature can help us to better understand the current global migration problems and multi-cultural coexistence of identity anxiety and remodeling dilemma, but also urge us to reflect on ourselves. Learning how to seek common ground while reserving differences, this research has certain realistic significance.
