【摘要】：雙語轉換問題,尤其是語碼轉換,是心理語言學界的研究焦點之一。學者們主要從語言理解和語言產生兩個角度,在行為學和認知神經科學兩個層面展開了不懈研究。然而,在語言理解中的語碼轉換研究中,國外研究者多運用ERPs或fMRI技術研究兩種或多種同源系的拼音文字間的語碼轉換效應,對漢英兩種不同源語系文字間的語碼轉換效應研究幾乎沒有。國內研究者則多在心理學、認知心理學、心理語言學等領域,采用行為學研究方法對不同熟練水平的漢英雙語者語碼轉換代價進行研究,他們主要側重于研究語言熟練程度、正字法特征、反應特征等對語碼轉換代價的影響,運用ERPs技術在語言學領域對熟練漢英雙語者的語碼轉換效應寥寥。本文在前人研究基礎上,通過運用ERPs技術,以“反應時”和“腦電”為指標,對熟練漢英雙語者詞匯理解中的語碼轉換效應進行探討。具體研究問題為:熟練漢英雙語者在詞匯加工中是否存在語碼轉換效應?本研究采用3(語言啟動模式類型:無啟動、漢語啟動、英語啟動)×2(圖-詞匹配類型:圖-英語匹配、圖-漢語匹配)被試內實驗設計,分為無啟動、漢語啟動和英語啟動三個部分。實驗選取四川外國語大學17名母語為漢語的英語語言文學專業(yè)研究生作為被試,采用圖詞匹配判斷任務,以三種不同語言模式啟動下的圖-詞為目標刺激,要求被試對圖-詞匹配情況進行判斷。在無啟動部分,被試需對隨機出現的圖片-詞語進行圖詞相關判斷;漢語啟動與英語啟動兩個部分的實驗程序相同,首先呈現相關字符串(即啟動詞),然后要求被試對啟動詞消失之后隨機出現的圖片-詞語進行圖詞相關判斷。因變量為被試對圖-詞判斷的反應時和腦電數據。實驗過程采用E-prime 2.0軟件進行編程,實驗中產生的腦電數據通過Neuroscan 4.5和Synaps2采集并記錄,然后對腦電數據進行離線分析,并且將結果輸入SPSS 19.0進行統計分析。整個實驗在四川外國語大學外語學習認知神經重點實驗室完成。研究結果如下:(1)行為數據顯示,在三種啟動條件下的圖-英匹配加工中,只有無啟動條件下的圖英匹配反應時顯著短于英語啟動下的圖英匹配反應時(p=.027.05),正確率兩兩對比均無顯著差異(ps.05);在三種啟動條件下的圖-漢匹配加工中,只有無啟動條件下的圖-漢匹配反應時短于英語啟動條件下的圖-漢匹配反應時,存在邊緣顯著差異(p=.076),正確率兩兩對比均無顯著差異(ps.05)。這表明熟練漢英雙語者在詞匯加工中存在語碼轉換效應,但其效應受語言轉換方向影響;另外,這些結果還表明反應時和正確率在探測語碼轉換上存在靈敏度差異。(2)腦電結果顯示,被試對三種啟動條件下的圖-英匹配加工均誘發(fā)了N100、N200、N400三個腦電成分。具體而言,被試主要在加工漢語啟動條件下的圖-英匹配比加工英語啟動條件下的圖-英匹配誘發(fā)了更大的N100波幅和N200波幅(ps.05),但在N400成分上不存在顯著差異。同樣的,被試對三種啟動條件下的圖-漢匹配加工也均誘發(fā)了N100、N200、N400三個腦電成分。具體而言,被試主要在加工無啟動條件下的圖-漢匹配比加工漢語啟動以及英語啟動條件下的圖-漢匹配誘發(fā)了更大的N200波幅和N400波幅(ps.05),而漢語啟動與英語啟動條件下的圖漢匹配加工在N200波幅和N400波幅上均無顯著差異;另外,被試在加工三種啟動條件下的圖-漢匹配所誘發(fā)的N100成分不存在顯著差異。這說明,語言轉換方向對熟練漢英雙語者的語碼轉換模式及轉換效應有著重要的影響。綜上所述,本研究發(fā)現,熟練漢-英雙語者在詞匯加工中存在語碼轉換效應,且語言轉換方向影響著語碼轉換的模式及其效應。
[Abstract]:Bilingual conversion problems, especially code switching, is one of the research focus of psychological linguistics. Scholars mainly from two aspects of language comprehension and language, behavioral and cognitive neuroscience in two aspects the unremitting research. However, in the understanding of language code conversion in the study, researchers abroad using ERPs or fMRI technology research of two or more homologous lines between the alphabetic code switching effect, almost no two different languages of Chinese and English source text between code switching effect research. Domestic researchers in psychology, cognitive psychology, psycholinguistics, using behavioral research methods different proficiency level of Chinese English bilingual language switching costs of research, they mainly focus on the study of language proficiency, orthographic features, influence the reaction characteristics of code switching cost, using ERPs technology in The field of linguistics for skilled Chinese English bilingual code switching effect. Only on the basis of previous studies, through the use of ERPs technology to "reaction" and "brain" as the index of skilled Chinese English bilingual vocabulary comprehension in code switching. The specific research questions are: proficient Chinese English bilinguals whether in lexical processing in code switching effect? This study used 3 (Language start mode type: no start, start Chinese, English start) * 2 (picture word matching type: English, Chinese, map - matching) within subjects experimental design, divided into start, Chinese and English start start the three parts. We selected 17 native Sichuan University of foreign languages into Chinese English language and literature majors as subjects, using the picture word matching judgment task, in three different language mode under the picture word as the target stimulus, is required Try to judge the picture word matching. In the absence of starting part, subjects need to map words related to judgment of random images - words; Chinese and English start start the same experimental program in two parts, first presents the related strings (i.e., and verb) and then asked the students to start a random word disappear the picture - words of picture word judgments. The dependent variables were subject to the picture word judgment reaction time and EEG data. Experiments were performed using E-prime 2 software programming, the EEG data by Neuroscan 4.5 and Synaps2 are collected and recorded, then the EEG data were analyzed off-line, and the input SPSS 19 statistical analysis. The results are as follows: (1) behavior data show that in three starting conditions - figure The matching process, only the British English figure under the condition of no start drawing, reaction time was significantly shorter in English start matching under reaction time (p=.027.05), the correct rate was no significant difference between the 22 comparison (ps.05); in three starts under the condition of Chinese figure matching processing, only the starting conditions the Chinese figure, shorter reaction time than English start under the condition of Chinese figure, reaction time, there is significant difference edge (p=.076), the correct rate was no significant difference between the 22 comparison (ps.05). It is shown that the proficient Chinese English bilinguals are code switching effect in lexical processing, but its effect by language conversion in addition, influence; these results also indicate that the reaction time and correct rate exist differences in the sensitivity detection of code switching. (2) the EEG results showed that subjects of three starting conditions, processing map - English were induced N100, N200, N400 three EEG components specifically, The main subjects in the processing of Chinese start under the condition of map - English ratio processing of English priming map - English, induced greater N100 amplitude and the amplitude of N200 (ps.05), but no significant differences in N400 components. Similarly, on three start under the condition of Chinese figure the matching process were also induced by N100, N200, N400 three EEG components. Specifically, the main subjects in the process under the condition of no start Chinese map matching ratio processing of Chinese and English start start under the condition of Chinese figure, induced greater N200 amplitude and the amplitude of N400 (ps.05), and Chinese and English start start conditions tuchan processing, there were no significant differences in the N200 amplitude and the amplitude of N400; in addition, the subjects of N100 components in the processing of three starting conditions, Chinese map - induced no significant difference. This shows that the language conversion of proficient Chinese English Bilinguals Code switching mode and switching effect have important influence. To sum up, this study finds that there is code switching effect in proficient Chinese English bilinguals, and the direction of language transformation affects the mode and effect of code switching.
