【摘要】：人類經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)的快速發(fā)展,推動(dòng)著翻譯實(shí)踐的經(jīng)緯外延不斷擴(kuò)展,同時(shí)也推動(dòng)翻譯研究呈現(xiàn)主體多元化、視角立體化、途徑科學(xué)化的特點(diǎn)。這無疑在一定程度上增加了人們對(duì)翻譯的認(rèn)知難度。因此,譯界必須不斷加深理論水平和提高實(shí)踐能力。作為一名MTI的學(xué)生理應(yīng)通過加強(qiáng)翻譯實(shí)踐提升翻譯研究能力。筆者結(jié)合MTI培養(yǎng)要求和自身實(shí)際選取TheChinaBThm:Why China Will Not Rule the World(《為何中國會(huì)"強(qiáng)而不霸"》)作為本次翻譯實(shí)踐的材料,并運(yùn)用目的論指導(dǎo)本次翻譯實(shí)踐,綜合使用多種翻譯方法和技巧完成翻譯任務(wù)。在進(jìn)行深入總結(jié)和反思本次翻譯實(shí)踐的基礎(chǔ)上撰寫翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告,力爭(zhēng)提升翻譯實(shí)踐能力和增強(qiáng)翻譯理論素養(yǎng),為將來投身于我國的社會(huì)主義現(xiàn)代化事業(yè)進(jìn)行充分的準(zhǔn)備。筆者首先通過對(duì) The China Boom:Why China Will Not Rule the World(《為何中國會(huì)"強(qiáng)而不霸"》)(節(jié)選)的英漢翻譯文本進(jìn)行分析整理,繼而對(duì)筆記材料進(jìn)行充分思考和整理,在征求導(dǎo)師等各方意見后撰寫該翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告。該報(bào)告共分四個(gè)部分,從翻譯背景起筆,接著筆對(duì)原文本相關(guān)信息進(jìn)行介紹,然后重點(diǎn)分析翻譯的過程,最后進(jìn)行總結(jié);筆者試圖各部分結(jié)構(gòu)嚴(yán)密,重點(diǎn)突出、主次分明。筆者撰寫本篇翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告時(shí),始終將目的論的相關(guān)原理、適用方法同The China Boom:Why China Will Not Rule the World(《為何中國會(huì)"強(qiáng)而不霸"》)的翻譯過程進(jìn)行結(jié)合,通過案例分析闡述觀點(diǎn),進(jìn)行理論提煉和升華。The China Boom:Why China Will Not Rule the World(《為何中國會(huì)"強(qiáng)而不霸"》)的作者是具備深厚學(xué)術(shù)背景的美國約翰·霍普金斯大學(xué)的社會(huì)學(xué)副教授Ho-fung Hung(孔誥烽)。該書以一個(gè)美國高層學(xué)者的視角認(rèn)知我國經(jīng)濟(jì)當(dāng)前的快速發(fā)展的實(shí)際;該書有效駁斥了當(dāng)前流行"中國霸權(quán)夢(mèng)"的謬論;同時(shí),也客觀說明了中國經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的困難和障礙;揭示了中國的發(fā)展將是"強(qiáng)而不霸"的趨勢(shì)。對(duì)其翻譯不僅可以讓更多國人以跨文化視角認(rèn)知國情,思考影響我國發(fā)展進(jìn)程的各種因素,更能充分認(rèn)識(shí)西方的精英文化,提升"中國夢(mèng)"背景下的文化自信、理論自信和制度自信。因此,對(duì)該書的翻譯具有多重意義和價(jià)值。

The translation field must deepen its theoretical level and improve its practical ability. As a student of MTI, he should enhance his translation research ability by strengthening his translation practice. The Skopos theory is used to guide the translation practice and to complete the translation task with a variety of translation methods and techniques.
