【摘要】：目的中藥功效是《中藥學》臨床用藥的經(jīng)驗總結(jié),功效術語英譯的質(zhì)量影響中藥事業(yè)在國際上的繼承、發(fā)展與推廣,目前功效術語的英譯仍存在諸多問題,且系統(tǒng)宏觀性的研究近乎空白。本研究以"平肝類、息風類"功效術語為研究對象,結(jié)合中藥藥性理論,對相關功效術語的內(nèi)涵及其英譯進行系統(tǒng)性研究和深入性探討。通過挖掘功效術語的內(nèi)涵,以關聯(lián)翻譯理論為指導進行英文翻譯的比較研究,從而探討翻譯理論指導下中藥功效術語英譯的規(guī)律和技巧,以期為中藥功效術語英譯的實踐探究一種思路和方法,促進中藥學英譯學術水平的發(fā)展。方法1.總結(jié)"平肝類、息風類"術語及英譯的研究現(xiàn)狀從中醫(yī)藥英譯的起源和其經(jīng)歷的翻譯歷史階段出發(fā),理清中藥學英譯研究的內(nèi)容和脈絡。中藥功效作為中藥眾多有關知識點中的核心部分,已經(jīng)同宏觀中醫(yī)藥英譯一同步入了新的發(fā)展階段,但現(xiàn)有的功效術語英譯研究較少,缺乏系統(tǒng)性研究,且功效英譯存在的問題也較多。2.探索指導本研究的翻譯理論文章以中藥功效術語英譯為出發(fā)點,在回顧了中醫(yī)藥英譯實踐和中醫(yī)藥英譯理論指導的基礎上,發(fā)現(xiàn)了中醫(yī)藥英譯和翻譯理論指導的結(jié)合點:隱喻認知和關聯(lián)。通過中醫(yī)語言和邏輯特點的分析以及關聯(lián)翻譯理論的指導優(yōu)勢,選擇適合中藥功效術語英譯的翻譯理論——關聯(lián)翻譯理論為指導,以探索適合中醫(yī)藥翻譯的有關理論。3.挖掘"平肝類、息風類"功效術語的中文內(nèi)涵首先,通過"平肝"的近義詞"鎮(zhèn)肝"和相關詞語"柔肝",以及"息風"的異性同義詞"息風",分別篩查出與此五個詞組構(gòu)成的功效術語;然后,從漢字的詞源學角度出發(fā),根據(jù)中藥藥性理論,結(jié)合臨床用藥,判斷每個功效術語的藥性內(nèi)涵及功效術語內(nèi)部詞組間的邏輯關系。4.比較研究"平肝類、息風類"功效術語的英譯選取權(quán)威性較高的八個英譯版本,并梳理出"平肝類、息風類"的八個譯文,通過對比發(fā)現(xiàn)英譯存在的具體問題有:冠詞使用不規(guī)范、邏輯關系不明確、英文內(nèi)涵表達不精確,最重要的是沒有根據(jù)藥性理論來充分考慮英譯的個體化表達。解決這些問題的關鍵是根據(jù)具體語境掌握術語的中文內(nèi)涵和根據(jù)關聯(lián)翻譯理論指導中醫(yī)翻譯。結(jié)果通過對"平肝類、息風類"中文功效術語的篩選、整理和內(nèi)涵的挖掘,以及結(jié)合關聯(lián)理論對其八個英譯版本的比較研究可知,"平肝類、息風類"功效術語的中文表述以及其英文翻譯兩個層面都存在一定的問題。在中文表述上存在的主要問題有:第一,一詞多義或多詞一義;第二,術語的一致性差,即不同版本表述不同;第三,功效術語的靶向性不明,即從字面上難以直接看出功效所對應的病癥或適應癥;第四,邏輯關系不明確,即四字格前后兩個詞組間邏輯關系沒有直接表達。分析存在這些問題的原因可能有:中醫(yī)語言博大精深,呈現(xiàn)多樣性;不同歷史階段,對中醫(yī)解讀表述有所差別;中醫(yī)語言具有隱喻性的特點。在英文翻譯上存在的主要問題有:翻譯版本多、翻譯標準不統(tǒng)一、回譯性差、字面翻譯取代內(nèi)涵翻譯。分析存在這些問題的原因可能有:中醫(yī)藥翻譯尚無統(tǒng)一的翻譯規(guī)范;中醫(yī)語言邏輯不明確,譯者對同一術語的理解有差異;中藥功效術語英譯最重要的是,沒有根據(jù)藥性理論來充分考慮英譯的個體化表達;譯者的專業(yè)素養(yǎng)對翻譯有很大影響;中醫(yī)翻譯理論尚未確立等。為順應新階段中醫(yī)藥英譯發(fā)展的需求,中醫(yī)藥英譯需要追根溯源、結(jié)合藥性特點細化分析中文內(nèi)涵,在厘清內(nèi)涵的前提下,運用恰當?shù)睦碚撘罁?jù),再進行英文轉(zhuǎn)化翻譯。例如,針對"平肝類、息風類"功效術語的翻譯思路為:首先,從詞源角度出發(fā),結(jié)合病因病機和藥物的適應癥,細致挖掘功效術語的內(nèi)涵。其次,根據(jù)功效術語內(nèi)詞組的內(nèi)涵和性質(zhì),推敲詞組間的邏輯關系。第三,結(jié)合具體語境,如藥物的藥性和作用機制等,確定英文選詞。最后,在關聯(lián)理論的指導下,從認知出發(fā),選擇恰當?shù)姆g策略。結(jié)論中藥功效術語翻譯,首先,要把握中醫(yī)的語言邏輯特點;其次,在百家爭鳴的問題上刨根追底,并結(jié)合現(xiàn)代臨床研究,遵循"性效結(jié)合"的學術思想,科學地確定術語的內(nèi)涵;第三,查找漢英詞語的對應性,從英文釋義出發(fā),做到語言的最大對應;最后,結(jié)合關聯(lián)理論,解決翻譯中存在自相矛盾的問題,有依有據(jù)地進行翻譯。本研究針對的是"平肝類、息風類"功效術語的翻譯,具體的研究思路和方法,有可能存在不可避免的特異性問題;亦有可能以小知大,為其他中醫(yī)藥英譯起到拋磚引玉的作用�？傊�,希望本研究為中醫(yī)翻譯偉大事業(yè)貢獻微薄力量。

Translation analysis of the reasons for these problems may include: there is no uniform translation norms of English translation of traditional Chinese medicine; Chinese language logic is not clear, the translator's understanding of the same term is the difference; English translation of traditional Chinese medicine efficacy is not the most important, according to the property theory to fully consider the expression of the English translation of the individual; the translator's professional quality has a great influence on translation; translation theory has not yet been established. In order to adapt to the new stage of Chinese English translation of Chinese medicine development needs of TCM English translation need to trace source, combined with the specific resistance Some detailed analysis of Chinese connotation, in clarifying the connotation, the use of appropriate theoretical basis, and then English into translation.
