【摘要】：《瓦解》是尼日利亞作家欽努阿·阿契貝的代表作,也是現(xiàn)代非洲文學(xué)的經(jīng)典。作品講述了一位盲目崇拜男性力量的部落英雄-奧貢喀沃—在英國殖民入侵過程中,由于外界環(huán)境和個人性格弱點的雙重作用,最終選擇自殺的悲劇故事。自1958年發(fā)表以來,《瓦解》已引起眾多學(xué)者的關(guān)注。男性與女性的性別角色,以及伊博文化對兩性關(guān)系的態(tài)度,是小說中被研究得最多的主題之一。然而,這些研究或是從女性主義或婦女主義出發(fā),或只是集中在對男主人公奧貢喀沃的探討上,而忽略了小說中其他的男性人物。本論文旨在從男性氣質(zhì)理論的視角解讀《瓦解》,運用康奈爾、基梅爾、以及弗洛伊德的男性氣質(zhì)理論觀點,對文本中反映出的英國殖民前后伊博族男性氣質(zhì)的表現(xiàn)及變遷進行細(xì)致分析,從而更好的理解文本,理解伊博社會,理解阿契貝的男性氣質(zhì)觀及其對殖民主義的態(tài)度。論文結(jié)合殖民前后伊博社會的政治、經(jīng)濟、文化語境,闡述了傳統(tǒng)伊博社會勇士男性氣質(zhì)以及殖民時期市場男性氣質(zhì)的表現(xiàn)。伊博族傳統(tǒng)勇士男性氣質(zhì)既具有英勇強壯等品質(zhì),也具有溫和高貴的美德。在殖民過程中,勇士男性氣質(zhì)被閹割、被邊緣化,丟失了自身身份及尊嚴(yán),被物質(zhì)主義所侵蝕,演變?yōu)橹趁窕氖袌瞿行詺赓|(zhì)。文章也詳盡分析了伊博社會中不同男性氣質(zhì)的建構(gòu)及表現(xiàn)。作為伊博族男權(quán)文化支配性男性氣質(zhì)的代表,奧貢喀沃對勇士男性氣質(zhì)的誤讀,對伊博文化中的女性價值觀及原則的拋棄,是其悲劇的主要根源。奧貢喀沃的父親烏諾卡及兒子諾亞屬于從屬性男性氣質(zhì),他們天性溫和柔弱,無法適應(yīng)崇尚力量與勇氣的伊博社會。奧貢喀沃的好友奧比埃里卡能較好地平衡自身及社會文化中陽剛與陰柔兩個方面,因而能建構(gòu)更為健康的男性氣質(zhì)�！锻呓狻芳润w現(xiàn)了阿契貝對殖民主義的批判,也蘊含了阿契貝的男性氣質(zhì)觀。他呼吁族人重拾傳統(tǒng),重拾勇士男性氣質(zhì)。他認(rèn)同父權(quán)制的思想,但反對支配性男性氣質(zhì),認(rèn)為男性應(yīng)該是一家之主,家庭的保護者,而不是殘暴的統(tǒng)治者。他呼吁對女性給予更多尊重,建立和諧的兩性關(guān)系。
[Abstract]:< > collapse is a representative of Nigeria writer Chinua Achebe, is also the modern African literature. Classical works tells the story of a blind worship of male power tribal hero - Kawo - Ogun in the British colonial invasion process, due to the dual role of the external environment and individual character weakness, eventually tragic story. Dutch act published since 1958, < > collapse has caused the attention of many scholars. The gender roles of male and female, and the attitude of Igbo culture of gender relations, is one of the themes in the novel is the most studied. However, these studies or from the point of view of feminism and womanism, or just focus on the hero of Kawo Augu, while ignoring the other male characters in the novel. This thesis from the perspective of the theory of masculinity "collapse >, using Connell, Kimmel, and Freud's men Temperament theory, detailed analysis on the changes of performance and Igbo masculinity reflected in the text before and after the British, in order to better understand the text, understand Igbo society, understand Achebe's masculinity view and attitude of colonialism. The combination of political, social and economic context of the colonial Igbo culture, explained, the traditional Igbo society warriors masculinity and colonial masculinity market performance. Igbo traditional masculinity has strong brave warriors such as quality, also has gentle noble virtues. As the Igbo male right culture branch Representative with masculinity, Ogun Kawo misreading of masculinity to abandon the warriors, and the principle of Igbo culture in their values, is a major cause of the tragedy. The father and son Kawo Augu unoka Noah subordinated masculinity, their nature moderate weak, unable to adapt to the strength and courage of the Igbo society advocate Kawo. He agreed with the patriarchal ideology, but against the hegemonic masculinity, that men should be the head of the family, the family's protector, instead he calls the cruel rulers.
