【摘要】：形象學研究起源于法國的比較文學領(lǐng)域。作為比較文學的一個重要分支,形象學越來受到學術(shù)界的關(guān)注。形象學研究的重心是文學作品中的異國"形象"問題,探究這些作為"他者"的形象是如何在言說"自我"的過程中被觀察、遐想與塑造的,并探究形成異國形象的深層原因以及折射于其中的"自我"形象。作為一種跨文化交際活動,翻譯不僅涉及語言的轉(zhuǎn)換,而且對于原文中的形象重塑影響重大。原作者所塑造的形象需要通過翻譯進入譯入語文化,而在此過程中,譯者成為了形象創(chuàng)造的主體,而原作者所創(chuàng)造的形象則成為被譯者注視的"他者"。在形象重塑的過程中,譯者會受到各種因素的影響從而使得重塑的"他者"形象與原文本中的形象發(fā)生改變。從形象學的視角出發(fā),我們可以解讀中"他者"形象的重塑,對文學作品翻譯中形象的傳遞效果進行評價,揭示形象生成問題背后所蘊含的文化誤讀,對于本國形象的傳遞和跨文化交際具有寶貴的參考價值與研究意義。本文以麥家的成名作《解密》及其英譯本Decoded:A Novel為研究案例進行比較分析,從形象學角度對《解密》中形象的重塑與傳遞及傳遞過程中發(fā)生的變異進行了分析與探討。本文依從比較文學形象學的研究方法,分別從文本內(nèi)和文本外對作品進行具體的案例對比分析。本文首先從文本內(nèi)分析的角度展開,從詞匯、等級關(guān)系和情節(jié)三個維度選取具有代表性的案例,對原作者和譯者所塑造的形象進行對比分析。通過分析,本文指出《解密》在譯出過程中,"他者"形象會在詞匯、等級關(guān)系和情節(jié)等層面發(fā)生變異。這些形象的衍生與變異體現(xiàn)了原文譯者在對文本理解上與原作者意圖的差異性,而這些差異性導(dǎo)致了原文與譯文對同一形象塑造的差異性。例如,譯文對于原文中重復(fù)出現(xiàn)的特定詞匯或段落結(jié)構(gòu)的省略。第二,本文運用形象學文本外分析方法,從社會集體想象物、譯者自身對于"他者"的經(jīng)歷、情感與態(tài)度等方面對《解密》的原文與譯文進行對比分析。通過比較發(fā)現(xiàn),形象在翻譯過程中的變異與衍生很大程度上受到譯者本國的社會集體想象物影響。此外,譯者的個人經(jīng)歷和對"他者"的情感態(tài)度也影響了形象在譯文中的重塑。例如,米歐敏教授在回信中肯定了她個人的學術(shù)研究興趣對于確定某一專有名詞翻譯的影響。最后,本文對于研究中國文學走出去以及如何通過中國文學的譯出樹立積極的中國形象具有一定的啟示與參考價值。
[Abstract]:As an important branch of comparative literature, the study of image has been paid more and more attention by the academic circles. The focus of the study of image is the "image" of foreign countries in literary works. Explore how these images as "other" are observed, reverie and shaped in the process of saying "self". As a cross-cultural communicative activity, translation not only involves language conversion, but also explores the underlying causes of the formation of foreign images and the "self" images reflected in them. The image created by the original author needs to be translated into the target language culture, and in the process, the translator becomes the main body of image creation. The image created by the original author becomes the "other person" who is watched by the translator in the process of image reconstruction. The translator will be influenced by various factors so as to change the reconstructed "other" image and the original text image. From the perspective of imageology, we can interpret the reconstruction of "other" image in the original text. This paper evaluates the effect of image transmission in the translation of literary works and reveals the cultural misreading behind the problem of image formation. It has valuable reference value and research significance for the transmission of national image and cross-cultural communication. This paper is a famous masterpiece by Mai Jia and its English translation Decoded:A. Novel is a comparative analysis of the case study. From the perspective of image science, this paper analyzes and discusses the reconstruction and transmission of image in decryption and the variation in the process of transmission. This paper follows the research method of image science of comparative literature. This paper starts from the perspective of text analysis, and selects representative cases from the three dimensions of vocabulary, hierarchy and plot. Through the comparative analysis of the images created by the original author and the translator, this paper points out that the "other" image will appear in the lexicon in the process of translating "decryption". The derivation and variation of these images reflect the difference between the translator's understanding of the text and the original author's intention. These differences lead to the differences between the original text and the target text in shaping the same image. For example, the translation omits the repetition of specific vocabulary or paragraph structure in the original. In this paper, the author uses the method of extratext analysis to analyze the experience of "the other" from the social collective imagination and the translator's own experience of "the other". This paper makes a contrastive analysis of the original text and the translation of decryption from the aspects of emotion and attitude. The variation and derivation of image in the process of translation is largely influenced by the social and collective imagination of the translator's own country. The translator's personal experience and emotional attitude towards the "other" also influence the image reconstruction in the translation. In his reply, Professor Miomin affirmed the impact of her personal interest in academic research on determining the translation of a proper noun. This paper has some enlightenment and reference value for the study of Chinese literature going out and how to establish a positive image of China through the translation of Chinese literature.
