國際期刊論文的言據(jù)性分析:認知功能視角

語言不僅可以用來傳遞信息和表征客觀世界,還可以表達情感、態(tài)度和立場等。言據(jù)性(evidentiality)指說話人利用語言編碼對所述命題信息、知識來源以及對信息、知識可靠程度的說明,在語法層的體現(xiàn)稱為“據(jù)素”或“據(jù)素標記”(房紅梅,2005:vi)。作為一種重要的語言機制,言據(jù)性不僅涉及到發(fā)話人所提供信息的來源、信息獲得的模式、信息的可靠性,還涉及到發(fā)話人在交際過程中對信息的來源及準確性所承擔(dān)的責(zé)任。期刊論文是科研人員以書面語言的形式向?qū)W術(shù)共同體成員提出新問題、新觀點、新理論,新趨勢和新結(jié)論的一種媒介。一方面,期刊論文應(yīng)客觀嚴謹,作者應(yīng)當(dāng)客觀地陳述事實;另一方面,作者在報告客觀研究成果的同時需要闡明個人的立場、態(tài)度,竭盡全力說服讀者認同論文的觀點和結(jié)論。期刊論文中的學(xué)術(shù)觀點“言之有據(jù)、言而有信”正是言據(jù)性所探討的問題核心。因此,開展期刊論文中的言據(jù)性研究具有重要的理論和實際價值。由于言據(jù)性在語言交際中的普遍性和重要性,眾多學(xué)者從多種視角、采用多種研究方法對其進行了描寫和解釋。本研究首先回顧了近幾十年間不同理論視角下的言據(jù)性研究歷程,總結(jié)了國內(nèi)外多項有關(guān)期刊論文中言據(jù)性的實證研究。在此基...
