《春秋》紀(jì)事與中古佛誕諸說

【摘要】:費長房《歷代三寶紀(jì)》記載了中古時期具有代表性的六種佛誕說。其中,四種佛誕說與《春秋》紀(jì)事存在關(guān)聯(lián)。從邏輯上來看,這種關(guān)聯(lián)經(jīng)歷了三個層次的演變:1.周莊王十年說是在假托、依附《春秋》紀(jì)事的基礎(chǔ)上創(chuàng)造的中土佛誕說;2.周桓王五年說與周平王四十八年說是在重新解讀《春秋》紀(jì)事中發(fā)展出的中土佛誕新說;3.周昭王二十四年說則放棄依附《春秋》紀(jì)事轉(zhuǎn)而依附《竹書紀(jì)年》。促進佛誕諸說與《春秋》紀(jì)事關(guān)系演變的原因很多,但三教爭衡無疑是其中影響最大的一種。四種佛誕說,既展示了中土民眾認(rèn)識佛教的過程,更是佛教中國化的產(chǎn)物,在中國乃至漢文化圈中,有著重要影響。近現(xiàn)代以來,世界佛教紀(jì)年研究的學(xué)術(shù)潮流中,這四種佛誕說已被拋棄。但其中有關(guān)佛教中國化和中國文化的內(nèi)容、特征,在中華傳統(tǒng)文化的當(dāng)代轉(zhuǎn)化與發(fā)展中,仍有著重要的借鑒意義。
[Abstract]:Fei Changfang's three Treasures recorded six representative Buddhist Birthday theories in the Middle Ages. Among them, four kinds of Buddha's birthday theories are related to the Chronicle of Spring and Autumn. Logically, this association has undergone three levels of evolution: 1. Zhou Zhuangwang's theory of ten years was created on the basis of the Chronicle of Spring and Autumn, which was created on the basis of the Chronicle of Spring and Autumn. The five-year theory of Zhou Huanwang and the 48-year theory of Zhou Pingwang are the new theory of Buddha's Birthday in China developed in the Chronicle of Spring and Autumn. Zhou Zhaowang said in 24 that he gave up relying on the Chronicle of Spring and Autumn instead of Bamboo Book year. There are many reasons to promote the evolution of the relationship between Buddha's Birthday and the Chronicle of Spring and Autumn, but the struggle between the three religions is undoubtedly one of the most influential. The four Buddhist Birthday theories not only show the process of Chinese and Turkish people's understanding of Buddhism, but also are the product of the Sinicization of Buddhism, which has an important influence in Chinese and even Han cultural circles. Since modern times, these four kinds of Buddhist birthday theories have been abandoned in the academic trend of the study of Buddhist chronology in the world. However, the contents and characteristics of Buddhism and Chinese culture still have important reference significance in the contemporary transformation and development of Chinese traditional culture.
