劉廷芳“中國基督教”思想研究

【摘要】：本色化是基督教進入中國起就無法規(guī)避的議題。劉廷芳作為杰出的基督徒學(xué)者和宗教領(lǐng)袖親歷了20世紀(jì)初基督教與中國文化之間的第三次交融與碰撞。本文以劉廷芳“中國基督教”思想為研究對象,通過對他所著文章的整理、所行之事的分析、所發(fā)表言論的梳理來解析劉廷芳“中國基督教”思想的主要內(nèi)涵。所謂基督教本色化,主要是指神學(xué)教義和組織禮儀上的本色化,故本文也首先以這兩個方面為契機從理論上確定劉廷芳的中國基督教思想,具體來講:其一,從神學(xué)思想上對基督教的耶穌觀、信徒觀和教會觀進行中國化的解釋,以期使基督教教義既保持基督教教義的本真部分又適應(yīng)中國社會的現(xiàn)實狀況;其二,從組織禮儀上進行基督教本色化的改革,使其與中國倫理文化相融合。由于受到西方心理學(xué)教育的影響,劉廷芳注重實踐和試驗,在實現(xiàn)基督教本色化的過程中,劉廷芳從社會活動、宗教教育和倫理文化三方面入手進行大量試驗,希冀找出最適合中國基督教發(fā)展的道路,這包括發(fā)起基督教屆的新文化運動,積極參與回應(yīng)當(dāng)時社會的各種運動;在燕京大學(xué)進行教育改革;以《生命月刊》和《紫晶》等雜志為陣地,發(fā)表文章試圖改變中國人固有的倫理文化觀念等。劉廷芳不僅從理論上對基督教本色化做出了獨有的貢獻,更在改良中國社會、改革宗教教育,改造中國人心上做了實踐的努力。特別是其以求證的方式進行改良的實踐方式值得我們深思。
[Abstract]:Indigenization is an issue that Christianity has been unable to avoid since its entry into China. As an outstanding Christian scholar and religious leader, Liu Tingfang experienced the third blending and collision between Christianity and Chinese culture in the early 20th century. This article takes Liu Ting-fang 's "Chinese Christianity" thought as the research object, through the analysis of his articles, deeds and comments, to analyze the main connotation of Liu Ting-fang 's "Chinese Christianity" thought. The so-called essence of Christianity mainly refers to the essence of theological doctrine and organizational etiquette. Therefore, this article first takes these two aspects as the turning point to theoretically determine Liu Ting-fang 's Chinese Christian thought. Specifically, first of all, In order to keep the true part of Christian doctrine and adapt to the reality of Chinese society Christian doctrine is interpreted in China from theological view of Jesus believer and church. Secondly, the reform of the Christian essence from the organization etiquette makes it merge with the Chinese ethical culture. Because of the influence of western psychological education, Liu Ting-fang paid attention to practice and experiment. In the process of realizing the localization of Christianity, Liu Ting-fang carried out a large number of experiments from three aspects: social activities, religious education and ethical culture. Hope to find out the most suitable way for the development of Chinese Christianity, which includes launching the Christian new cultural movement, actively participating in the response to the various movements of the society at that time; Educational reform was carried out in Yanjing University and articles were published on the basis of magazines such as the monthly Journal of Life and the Amethyst in an attempt to change the inherent ethical and cultural concepts of the Chinese people. Liu Tingfang not only made a unique contribution to the localization of Christianity theoretically, but also made practical efforts in improving Chinese society, reforming religious education and reforming Chinese hearts. In particular, the practice of improving it by means of verification is worth our thinking.
