臺(tái)凈合流理論根源探析

【摘要】:天臺(tái)宗與凈土宗分屬不同宗派,在成佛依據(jù)、佛國凈土、修行方法以及解脫方式等諸多方面存在著顯著差異。臺(tái)宗認(rèn)為十界眾生性具善惡,凈宗則堅(jiān)稱圣界諸賢至善至美,惟有俗界眾生才是有善有惡的;臺(tái)宗倡導(dǎo)唯心凈土、自性彌陀,凈宗則宣揚(yáng)西方彌陀凈土;臺(tái)宗主張自力自為,自修成佛,凈宗則高呼娑婆眾生惟有依憑彌陀愿力之救度方可成佛;臺(tái)宗主張通過止觀雙修趨向佛境,凈宗則宣揚(yáng)持名念佛即可往生安養(yǎng)樂邦。臺(tái)凈二宗雖有諸多差異,但在佛性論、佛國論、解脫論和實(shí)踐論等基本佛法上并無根本分歧。基本理論上的相侔為臺(tái)凈二宗的合流奠定了基礎(chǔ),具體內(nèi)容上的相異則為彼此的融合提供了可能。
[Abstract]:Tiantai sect and Pure Land sect belong to different sects, and there are significant differences in the basis of Buddha, the Pure Land of Buddha, the method of spiritual practice and the way of liberation. The Taizong believed that the ten living beings had good and evil, while the pure sect insisted that the saints were the best and the best, and only the vulgar sentient beings had the good and the evil. The Taizong advocated the idealistic land, the self-nature of Maituo, and the pure sect of the Western Maituo. Taiwan patriarch Zhang Zili made his own efforts to become Buddha, while the net sect chanted that all Saha beings could become Buddhas only by relying on the strength of Maitreya's will to save the Buddha. The Taiwan patriarchal master, Zhang, went to the Buddha's territory through observation, and the net sect advocated that one who held the name of the Buddha could die in peace and support the happy state. Although there are many differences between the two schools of Taijing, there are no fundamental differences in the basic Buddhist Dharma, such as Buddhism nature theory, Buddhist state theory, liberation theory and practice theory. The basic theoretical equivalence lays the foundation for the convergence of Taijing's two generations, and the differences in specific contents provide the possibility for the fusion of each other.
