【摘要】：沙門(mén)是否應(yīng)該致敬王者,本質(zhì)上是王權(quán)和教權(quán)何者至上、佛教僧眾是否無(wú)條件臣服帝王的問(wèn)題。這是佛教在中國(guó)社會(huì)發(fā)展到特定階段才出現(xiàn)的新問(wèn)題,涉及面廣,影響深遠(yuǎn)。如何解決這個(gè)問(wèn)題,直接決定著王朝處理其他佛教事務(wù)能夠采取的方式和方法。東晉時(shí)期圍繞這個(gè)問(wèn)題的朝野論戰(zhàn),是政界和教界關(guān)于佛教與政治關(guān)系從理論到實(shí)踐的雙重探索。只有當(dāng)佛教僧眾無(wú)條件臣服帝王的時(shí)候,沙門(mén)是否應(yīng)該致敬王者問(wèn)題才能得到徹底解決。經(jīng)過(guò)數(shù)百年反復(fù)較量,政界和佛教界在解決這個(gè)問(wèn)題上達(dá)成共識(shí),不僅最終確定了佛教在封建國(guó)家政治生活中的地位,也為解決封建國(guó)家處理其他宗教與政治的基本關(guān)系樹(shù)立了參照樣板。
[Abstract]:Whether Shamen should pay homage to the king is essentially the question of who the king is and what the religious power is, and whether the Buddhist monks are unconditionally subject to the emperor. This is a new problem in the development of Chinese society, involving a wide range and far-reaching impact. How to solve this problem directly determines the ways and methods the dynasty can adopt in dealing with other Buddhist affairs. During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the political and religious circles explored the relationship between Buddhism and politics from theory to practice. Only when the Buddhist monks unconditionally submit to the emperor, should Shamen pay homage to the king can be solved. After hundreds of years of repeated competition, the political and Buddhist circles reached a consensus on resolving this issue, which not only finally determined the status of Buddhism in the political life of feudal countries, It also set a reference model for solving the basic relationship between other religions and politics in feudal countries.
