天如惟則禪師及其禪法研究

【摘要】:本文是元代佛教人物的專題研究,采用的是較為傳統(tǒng)的歷史人物研究的邏輯框架,其中包括時(shí)代背景、生平足跡、思想特質(zhì)以及對(duì)于后世的影響。天如惟則(1286-1354)生活在元朝中后期,這一時(shí)期,禪宗雖已整體呈現(xiàn)出衰敗的氣息,但臨濟(jì)宗卻彰顯出蓬勃的生命力。惟則為臨濟(jì)宗楊岐派高僧,他的傳法師父是元朝最杰出的高僧中峰明本。他的禪法深受中峰明本的影響,但同時(shí)卻有自己的獨(dú)特認(rèn)識(shí)。惟則的禪凈合一思想具有承上啟下的重要作用。天如惟則認(rèn)為,禪與其他教法并無本質(zhì)的區(qū)別,都是對(duì)于“妙圓覺性”的證悟,惟則認(rèn)為參禪非常困難,需要具足大信力、大智慧以及大勇猛之心,才能堅(jiān)持不懈,或有所獲。惟則特別提倡看話禪,他與其師都推崇看“無”字話頭,惟則認(rèn)為,可以將“阿彌陀佛”作為一個(gè)話頭進(jìn)行提斯。惟則的禪法思想的精髓在于禪凈合一,惟則認(rèn)為他所處的時(shí)代是末法時(shí)代,參禪之法對(duì)于學(xué)人的要求太高,因此可以合流凈土念佛法門以補(bǔ)參禪之不足。惟則同時(shí)也為后世留下了寶貴的物質(zhì)財(cái)富,惟則所創(chuàng)建的獅子林,為江南私家園林的典范。此外,惟則的詩文具有很高的文學(xué)價(jià)值,是元朝詩僧研究的一個(gè)重鎮(zhèn)。本文旨在突出天如惟則在中國禪宗發(fā)展史上的重要作用,總結(jié)其禪法思想的特點(diǎn),明晰其在中國禪宗史的歷史地位。
[Abstract]:This paper is a monographic study of Buddhist figures in Yuan Dynasty, which adopts a more traditional logical framework of historical figures research, including the background of the times, life footprints, ideological characteristics and the impact on later generations. Tianyuweizi (1286-1354) lived in the late Yuan Dynasty. In this period, although Zen had shown the overall decline, but Lin Jizong showed a vigorous vitality. However, he was the most outstanding monk in the Yuan Dynasty. His Zen method was deeply influenced by Zhongfeng Ming Ben, but at the same time he had his own unique understanding. However, the thought of the unity of Zen and purity has the important function of connecting the past with the following. Tianyu thinks that there is no essential difference between Zen and other teaching methods. They are all about the realization of "wonderful circle consciousness." however, he thinks that it is very difficult to go to Zen meditation, and it requires great faith, wisdom, and great courage to persist or gain something. However, he and his teacher especially advocated saying Zen. Both he and his teacher respected the word "nothing", but thought that "Amitabha Buddha" could be used as a speech. However, the essence of Zen thought is the unity of Zen, but he thinks that his age is the late Dharma era, and the requirement for the scholar is too high to join the Pure Land to chanting the Buddha's Dharma to supplement the deficiency of the Zen meditation. However, it also left precious material wealth for later generations, but the lion forest was the model of Jiangnan private garden. In addition, however, the poetry and prose has a high literary value, is the Yuan Dynasty poetry monk study of a major town. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the important role of Tian Ruwei in the history of Chinese Zen Buddhism, summarize the characteristics of his Zen thought, and clarify its historical position in the history of Chinese Zen Buddhism.
