涼州瑞像示現(xiàn)之“正光說(shuō)”獻(xiàn)疑

【摘要】:《集神州三寶感通錄》是涼州瑞像研究的主要文獻(xiàn),只是因?yàn)樗錆M神話色彩,研究者需要抽絲剝繭,才能還原歷史本來(lái)面目。據(jù)此可以推測(cè)6世紀(jì)初當(dāng)?shù)卮_有造像活動(dòng),但是未必發(fā)生在"正光"年間。因?yàn)檫@則材料中有關(guān)時(shí)間的記載都普遍缺乏準(zhǔn)確性,在佛教上層精英的眼中,"正光"是佛教僧團(tuán)發(fā)展的一個(gè)轉(zhuǎn)折點(diǎn),瑞像的無(wú)首狀態(tài)和正光佛教態(tài)勢(shì)契合,因此"正光說(shuō)"可能也是高僧傳經(jīng)布道的一種權(quán)宜方便。
