唐代華嚴(yán)的三圣圓融觀

【摘要】:"圓融"這一義理是中國佛教思想中不可或缺的內(nèi)容,"三圣"佛菩薩信仰模式也是中國佛教信奉的重要主題之一。其中,"華嚴(yán)三圣"源于華嚴(yán)經(jīng),是指以毗盧遮那佛為中央的,以文殊菩薩、普賢菩薩為兩側(cè)的組合信仰模式。以圓融義理為核心,以"唐代華嚴(yán)的三圣圓融觀"為本文的研究對象,旨在梳理"三圣圓融觀"思想在唐代的形成與發(fā)展歷程以及對后世佛教的影響與意義。中國佛教文化中,曾出現(xiàn)過許多以"三圣"為組合的菩薩信仰和觀法,最早出現(xiàn)的三圣是"華嚴(yán)三圣"。這種組合的佛菩薩信仰形式的形成、發(fā)展與傳播,無疑對中國佛教的流傳與弘揚具有十分關(guān)鍵的意義。此外,關(guān)于唐代華嚴(yán)的"三圣圓融觀"等義理思想方面的問題研究與探討,目前學(xué)術(shù)界涉及這方面的相關(guān)信仰與觀法的研究并不多見。因而,認(rèn)為對有關(guān)唐代華嚴(yán)的三圣圓融觀的研究是十分必要的,且有益的。本文試圖根據(jù)唐代華嚴(yán)宗的"圓融"義理思想的特征,并結(jié)合歷史與經(jīng)文典籍兩方面的材料,從唐代華嚴(yán)宗的發(fā)展?fàn)顩r、華嚴(yán)觀法與華嚴(yán)信仰、以及"華嚴(yán)三圣"對后世的影響等多個方面對此研究對象展開了系統(tǒng)性的分析與研究,來闡釋與探討唐代華嚴(yán)三圣圓融觀的發(fā)展、完善與確立過程,進而闡述其思想觀法對后世佛教尤其是宗密佛學(xué)思想的影響。除了第一章緒論部分,正文內(nèi)容主要分為四個章節(jié)。在第二章中,本文主要從唐代華嚴(yán)發(fā)展的社會背景和華嚴(yán)宗人對華嚴(yán)學(xué)圓融思想的研究兩方面,來闡釋了唐代華嚴(yán)宗的形成與發(fā)展,進而也闡釋了唐代得以產(chǎn)生"三圣圓融"思想的社會原因和個人原因。在第三章中,則主要是從與《華嚴(yán)經(jīng)》有關(guān)的華嚴(yán)佛菩薩信仰的經(jīng)文典籍的傳入和華嚴(yán)宗人有關(guān)佛菩薩信仰的變化兩方面,來闡述了 "華嚴(yán)三圣"佛菩薩信仰的樹立過程。在第四章中,則主要從法藏、李通玄、澄觀的著述義理中,來闡述了唐代華嚴(yán)三圣圓融觀法的發(fā)展與形成過程。如:法藏的六相圓融思想、到李通玄的三圣一體說,再到澄觀的三圣圓融觀的正式提出。在第五章中,本文則是在之前論述思想的基礎(chǔ)上,進一步闡釋"三圣圓融觀"對后世佛教的影響,尤其是對后世華嚴(yán)五祖宗密佛學(xué)思想的影響,形成了宗密的禪教一致的獨特的佛學(xué)思想與義理,以及形成了獨具華嚴(yán)宗派特色的華嚴(yán)三圣懺法。總之,唐代華嚴(yán)的"三圣圓融"義理,不僅是中國化佛教義理的重要組成部分,也是華嚴(yán)宗義理哲學(xué)的重要內(nèi)容。其意義,不僅體現(xiàn)在在宗密以及后世華嚴(yán)思想中占據(jù)重要地位,也體現(xiàn)在使得華嚴(yán)宗的影響在佛教宗派彼此之間以及與社會之間的發(fā)展與融合上。
[Abstract]:"Harmony" is an indispensable part of Chinese Buddhist thought, and the "three Saints" mode of belief of Buddha and Bodhisattva is also one of the important themes of Chinese Buddhism. Among them, "three Saints of Hua Yan" originates from the Classics of Hua Yan. It refers to the combination belief mode with the Buddha of Pilutjana as the center, the Manjusri Bodhisattva and the Bodhisattva as the two sides. Taking the melodious justice as the core and taking "the three Saints of the Tang Dynasty" as the research object, the purpose of this paper is to sort out the formation and development of the thought of "three Saints and Harmony" in the Tang Dynasty and its influence and significance on the later Buddhism. In Chinese Buddhist culture, there have been many bodhisattva beliefs and views based on the "three Saints", and the earliest three Saints are Huayan three Saints. The formation, development and dissemination of this combination of Buddha and Bodhisattva belief are undoubtedly of great significance to the spread and promotion of Chinese Buddhism. In addition, there are few researches on the related beliefs and views of the Tang Dynasty, such as the "three Saints and Harmony views" of Hua Yan in the Tang Dynasty. Therefore, it is necessary and beneficial to study the three sages of the Tang Dynasty. According to the characteristics of "mellow" righteousness thought of Hua Yan sect in Tang Dynasty, and combining with the historical and scripture materials, this paper attempts to analyze the development of Huayan sect in Tang Dynasty, the Hua Yan view method and the Hua Yan belief. As well as the influence of "Huayan three Saints" on the later generations, it has carried out systematic analysis and research on this research object, to explain and discuss the development, perfection and establishment process of the concept of "three Saints of Huayan" in the Tang Dynasty. Then it expounds its influence on later Buddhism, especially Zongmi Buddhism. In addition to the first chapter of the introduction, the main body is divided into four chapters. In the second chapter, this paper explains the formation and development of Huayan sect in Tang Dynasty from two aspects: the social background of the development of Huayin in Tang Dynasty and the study of Huayin's harmonious thought on the study of Huayin in the Tang Dynasty. Furthermore, it explains the social and personal reasons for the three sages of the Tang Dynasty. In the third chapter, the author expounds the process of establishing the belief of Buddha and Bodhisattva in the three Saints of Huayin from two aspects: the introduction of scriptures and books about the belief of Buddha and Bodhisattva and the change of belief of Buddha and Bodhisattva in Huayin Zong. In the fourth chapter, mainly from the legal collection, Li Tongxuan, Cheng Guan's writing theory, to elaborate the Tang Dynasty Huayin three holy mellow law development and formation process. For example, Fassain's six-phase mellow thought, to Li Tongxuan's theory of the three saints, and then to the clear view of the three sages. In the fifth chapter, on the basis of the previous discussion, this paper further explains the influence of the "three Saints Harmony" on the later Buddhism, especially the influence on the secret Buddhism thought of the later Huayen five ancestors. It formed a unique Buddhist thought and principle, and formed the Huayan three Saints repentance method with the unique characteristics of Huayen sect. In a word, the "three Saints and Harmony" of Hua Yan in Tang Dynasty is not only an important part of Buddhist justice in China, but also an important content of the philosophy of righteousness and theory of Huayen Zong. Its significance lies not only in the important position in the thoughts of sectarian sects and later generations, but also in the development and fusion of the influence of Huayanzong among the Buddhist sects and between the Buddhist sects and the society.
