現(xiàn)代佛教義學(xué)的學(xué)科化開展

【摘要】:在古代,從印度到中國,佛教的弘揚離不開佛教義學(xué)的開展,佛教的興盛也與佛教義學(xué)的繁榮關(guān)聯(lián)在一起,但到近世,隨著佛教在中國的整體衰落,佛教義學(xué)的學(xué)脈趨于斷絕,尤其隨著現(xiàn)代科學(xué)主義以及人本主義影響的普世化,佛教義學(xué)甚至在佛教界內(nèi)都失去了"合法性",其作為佛教學(xué)問,已然被佛教學(xué)術(shù)研究所取代。但佛教義學(xué)與佛教的命運緊密相連,必須對這樣一個嚴峻的情形予以嚴肅思考,換言之,必須反思現(xiàn)代佛教學(xué)問的性質(zhì)問題,以保證佛教義學(xué)在佛教界以及社會公共學(xué)問空間的重新定位與出場。這不僅關(guān)系到佛教本位上的正法久住,而且關(guān)系到佛教作為傳統(tǒng)文化基本組成部分所承擔的安定社會的重要功能的切實實現(xiàn),F(xiàn)代佛教義學(xué)是在具有明確的自我意識的前提下興起的,又處于現(xiàn)代學(xué)術(shù)研究的背景中,所以除傳統(tǒng)的佛教宗派義學(xué)研究的路線外,還有現(xiàn)代意義上的學(xué)科化開展的面向,佛教自己的學(xué)問空間正是在這種傳統(tǒng)與現(xiàn)代的緊張與融合中張開的。
[Abstract]:In ancient times, from India to China, the promotion of Buddhism could not be carried out without the development of Buddhist righteousness, and the prosperity of Buddhism was also linked with the prosperity of Buddhist righteousness. But in modern times, with the overall decline of Buddhism in China, the study of Buddhist righteousness tended to be cut off. Especially with the universality of modern scientism and humanism, Buddhist righteousness has lost its legitimacy even in the Buddhist world. As a Buddhist learning, it has been replaced by the Buddhist academic research institute. However, Buddhist righteousness is closely linked to the fate of Buddhism. We must seriously consider such a grim situation. In other words, we must reflect on the nature of modern Buddhist learning. In order to ensure the Buddhist righteousness in the Buddhist community and social public learning space re-positioning and appearance. This is not only related to the long life of Buddhism, but also related to the realization of the important function of Buddhism as a basic part of traditional culture to stabilize the society. Modern Buddhist righteousness is rising under the premise of having clear self-consciousness, and is also in the background of modern academic research. Therefore, in addition to the traditional research route of Buddhist school of righteousness, there is also the development of the modern sense of discipline. Buddhism's own learning space is opened in this tradition and modern tension and integration.
