慧皎《高僧傳》研究

【摘要】: 本文的研究范圍主要集中在《梁傳》及相關(guān)文獻的文獻學研究,這里包括對《梁傳》成書的研究,以及《梁傳》與外典的比較等等,希望通過此文的寫作分析出佛教史學與普通意義上外典歷史學的異同,并總結(jié)出一些較有規(guī)律性的特點。另外對于《梁傳》中的神異記述,本文也作一些社會學的梳理,以求對佛教歷史中這種較為普遍的現(xiàn)象做出較為客觀的評述。論文共分為引言、四章正文和三個相關(guān)的附錄。 引言部分分為兩節(jié),第一節(jié)討論的是關(guān)于本文研究的緣起、范圍、目的等問題,以便對本文的研究范圍作一個大致的界定。第二節(jié)是研究綜述,此節(jié)主要是追溯性地記錄在過去的一個世紀里國內(nèi)外對慧皎《高僧傳》的相關(guān)研究情況,并總結(jié)出其中的經(jīng)驗教訓。 第一章《梁傳》的作者研究。本章分為六節(jié),第一節(jié)生平研究,此節(jié)一個重點就是討論了慧皎《高僧傳》卷末對研究慧皎生平極為重要的僧果跋尾的真?zhèn)螁栴}。第二節(jié)對慧皎的著述以及從中反映出的問題作了一些考訂。第三節(jié)考察了《梁傳》撰寫的時間問題。第四節(jié)則著重討論了慧皎作為一個沒有多少地位的律學沙門這一特殊身份對其編撰的影響。第五節(jié)是探討了本書的大乘立場。第六節(jié)研究了由于南北割據(jù)而使本書具有的南方文史環(huán)境下特殊之處 第二章《梁傳》的文本研究,本章共分為五節(jié)。第一節(jié)《高僧傳》的題名,考察了慧皎對于“高僧”這一概念特別強調(diào)背后的個人乃至宗教目的。第二節(jié)是關(guān)于《高僧傳》的版本研究,主要討論湯用彤整理本的珍貴經(jīng)驗和值得改進的地方,,和《高麗藏》本《高僧傳》的一些問題,此節(jié)的主要目的是為以后進一步整理作理論上的準備。第三節(jié)和第四節(jié)分別是追溯歷代目錄學著作對本書的著錄情況以及本書各種不同版本的分卷。第五節(jié)研究的是《高僧傳》分科在結(jié)構(gòu)上的合理性以及各科人數(shù)的統(tǒng)計情況。最后一節(jié)研究的是《高僧傳》中記錄的部分傳主名稱方面的相關(guān)問題。 第三章《高僧傳》與早期傳記類資料之史源學研究,此章研究的主體是《高僧傳》與早期一些別傳、總傳、碑銘等傳記類資料的相關(guān)性。主要目的是對《高僧傳》資料采擷的標準作一些史源學分析,以求對慧皎時代的佛教傳記資料作一種概括性研究。 第四章是對《高僧傳》的總體評述,第一節(jié)是對《高僧傳》史學上的探討,并做一些材料上的修訂。第二節(jié)是對《高僧傳》與道宣《續(xù)高僧傳》史料重疊部分作的史料分析,除了文獻上的意義外,也可以看出本書對后代的影響。第三節(jié)是探討《高僧傳》中的一些要素在后代以文本和非文本形式的流傳。第四節(jié)則是對《高僧傳》在文學藝術(shù)上成功的關(guān)鍵作一點簡單的描述。 附錄一是對《高僧傳》史學背景的分析,主要討論的是慧皎所處的時代中史學的發(fā)展情況,以及這種史學的特點在《高僧傳》中的體現(xiàn)。 附錄二是《高僧傳》的史地類史源研究,鑒于慧皎編撰本書時曾參考了大量外典歷史學著作,本章就比較了在慧皎以前的一些重要歷史著作與《高僧傳》之間的聯(lián)系。 附錄三是原來計劃中社會人類學的一部分整理出來的稿件,主要是研究《高僧傳》中的神異及其背后所反映的宗教人類學意義。另外一個方面就是《高僧傳》中的法術(shù)的分類學分析。以上兩個方面都只完成了整個體系中的一小部分,故而只是作為附錄。
[Abstract]:The scope of this study is mainly focused on the bibliography of "Liang Zhuan >" and related literature, including the study of "Liang Zhuan > book" and the comparison between "Liang Zhuan >" with the foreign code and so on. The author hopes to analyze the similarities and differences between the Buddhist history and the common historical history through the writing of this article, and summarize some more regular characteristics. In order to make a more objective review of this common phenomenon in the history of Buddhism, this article is divided into an introduction, four chapters and three related appendices.
The first section is divided into two sections. The first section discusses the origin, scope and purpose of this study, so as to make a general definition of the scope of this study. The second section is a summary of the research. This section is mainly traced back to the relevant research on Hui Jiao < Gao monk 'in the past century, and summarized it. Out of the lessons.
The first chapter is the author of Liang Zhuan. This chapter is divided into six sections. The first section is a study of life and peace. This section focuses on the discussion of the true and false questions of the end of the Buddhist monks and fruits, which are very important to the study of Hui Jiao's life. The second section has made some studies on the writings of Hui Jiao and the problems reflected in it. The third section inspected the writing of "Liang Zhuan >" The fourth section focuses on the influence of Hui Jiao as a special status law sand gate. The fifth is to discuss the Mahayana position of this book. The sixth section studies the special features of this book in the Southern Literary and history environment because of the South and North separations.
The text of the second chapter, "Liang Zhuan >", is divided into five sections. The first section, the title of the high monk's biography, examines Hui Jiao's special emphasis on the individual and the religious purpose behind the concept of "high monk". The second section is about the study of the version of the Zhuan monk's biography. The main purpose of this section is to prepare for further theoretical preparation. The third and fourth sections are traced to the description of the book by the bibliographic works of the past dynasties and the classification of various versions of this book. The fifth section studies the rationality of the "high Monk Biography" and the structure of the Division. The last section deals with some issues related to the name of some of the biographies recorded in the monks' biography.
The third chapter, the history of the biography of Gao monk and early biography, the main body of this chapter is the correlation between the biography of the high monk and the early biography, the general biography, the inscription and so on. The main purpose is to make some historical sources analysis on the standard of the collection of the high monk's biography, in order to make a generality to the Buddhist biography data of the Hui Jiao era. Research.
The fourth chapter is the general comment on the Zhuan monk's biography. The first section is the study of the history of the high monk's biography and the revision of some materials. The second section is the historical analysis of the overlapping part of the high monk's biography and Taoism, and the historical data of the continued high monk's biography. In addition to the significance of the literature, the influence of the book to the descendants is also seen. The third section is to discuss the monk. Some of the elements in the biography are circulated in the form of text and non text in the descendants. The fourth section is a simple description of the key to the success of the high monk's biography in literature and art.
Appendix 1 is an analysis of the historical background of the Zhuan monk's biography, mainly discussing the development of the history in the era of Hui Jiao and the embodiment of the characteristics of this history in the biography of the high monks.
Appendix two is a historical source study of the history and land of the Zhuan monk. In view of his reference to a large number of works of history, Hui Jiao made a comparison of some of the important historical works of Hui Jiao and the link between the high monk's biography.
Appendix three is a part of the manuscript of Social Anthropology in the original plan, mainly the study of the religious anthropological significance reflected in the biography of the high monk and the religious anthropological significance behind it. The other is the taxonomic analysis of the magic in the Zhuan monk's biography. All of the above two aspects are finished only in a small part of the whole system. It's an appendix.
