敦煌漢文《佛說天地八陽神咒經(jīng)》研究

【摘要】:佛教自傳入中土,就不斷調(diào)整,使之適應(yīng)中土的文化氛圍。在這個(gè)過程中,佛教與中土固有文化相互交融,形成了一種特殊的佛教經(jīng)典——佛教疑偽經(jīng)。疑偽經(jīng)歷來不被佛教徒重視。但是,研究佛教本土化的歷程,佛教疑偽經(jīng)是非常重要的原始材料。敦煌遺書中有大量的佛教疑偽經(jīng),《佛說天地八陽神咒經(jīng)》是唐五代宋初敦煌地區(qū)流行較盛的佛教疑偽經(jīng)。本文即以敦煌遺書中的漢文《佛說天地八陽神咒經(jīng)》為研究對(duì)象,討論一系列的問題。研究發(fā)現(xiàn):1.《佛說天地八陽神咒經(jīng)》作為敦煌遺書中的寫經(jīng),具備唐五代宋初敦煌寫本的應(yīng)有特點(diǎn)2.《佛說天地八陽神咒經(jīng)》既不是玄奘的譯經(jīng),也不是義凈的譯經(jīng),其形成年代大約在七世紀(jì)中葉以后至八世紀(jì),具體的形成時(shí)間、何時(shí)人造作而成,無從考證。3.《佛說天地八陽神咒經(jīng)》是佛教與中土固有文化相互交融,即佛教本土化的產(chǎn)物。4.敦煌及其周邊民眾更注重《佛說天地八陽神咒經(jīng)》佛教“信仰型”層面,而不甚注重其中的佛教義理,這可以與晚唐五代宋初敦煌地區(qū)的佛教思想傳統(tǒng)及敦煌動(dòng)蕩的社會(huì)狀態(tài)相印證。
[Abstract]:Buddhism has been adjusted to suit the cultural atmosphere since it was introduced into China. In this process, Buddhism intermingled with native Chinese culture and formed a special Buddhist sutras-Buddhist sutras. The Sutra of doubt has always been ignored by Buddhists. However, the study of the process of Buddhism localization, Buddhism is a very important original material. There are a large number of Buddhist dubious scriptures in Dunhuang testament. The Buddhist sutras of the eight Gods of Heaven and Earth is a popular Buddhist sutra in Dunhuang area in the Tang and five dynasties and the early Song Dynasty. In this paper, a series of problems are discussed in the Chinese script of Dunhuang Manifesto of the eight Gods of Heaven and Earth. The study found that: 1. As the sutra written in Dunhuang's testament, the sutras written by the Buddha on the eight Gods of Heaven and Earth has the due characteristics of the Dunhuang manuscripts in the early Tang and Song dynasties. 2. The Buddha said that the mantra of the eight Gods of Heaven and Earth is neither Xuanzang's translation of the scriptures nor that of righteousness and purity. Its formation date was about from the middle of the seventh century to the eighth century. The concrete forming time, when the man made it, can not be proved by textual research. 3. The Buddha said that the mantra of the eight Gods of Heaven and Earth is the intermingling of Buddhism and the inherent culture of the Middle Earth, that is, the product of the localization of Buddhism. The people in and around Dunhuang pay more attention to the Buddhist "faith-based" level of Buddhism, but not to its Buddhist righteousness. This can be confirmed by the Buddhist tradition of Dunhuang in the late Tang and five dynasties and the early Song Dynasty and the turbulent social state of Dunhuang.
