人類對意義的追求:貝格爾宗教與世俗化關(guān)系再考察

【摘要】:彼得·貝格爾在《神圣的帷幕》中提出了經(jīng)典世俗化理論,引發(fā)了其后幾十年學界關(guān)于宗教與世俗化的探討,有學者指出了此理論的諸多錯誤,并提出了多種替代性或修補性的理論,貝格爾本人也撰文對其理論進行了修改。但是,在這些理論的解釋和困境的解決中,有一個重要因素雖然也進入了貝格爾和其他人的視野但沒有得到足夠關(guān)注,這就是貝格爾在《神圣的帷幕》中一筆帶過的一個人類學前提——人類對意義的渴求。從這一人類學前提討論宗教與世俗化的關(guān)系就可以看出中西方宗教世俗化根源的異同。
[Abstract]:In the Holy Curtain, Peter Berger put forward the classical secularization theory, which led to the discussion of religion and secularization in academic circles in the following decades. Some scholars pointed out many mistakes in this theory. And put forward a variety of alternative or mending theories, Berger himself also wrote to modify his theory. However, in the interpretation of these theories and the solution of the dilemma. One important factor, though also in the perspective of Berger and others, has not received enough attention. This is one of the anthropological premises that Berger once touched upon in the Holy Curtain, the human yearning for meaning.
