【摘要】：清乾隆、嘉慶年間,在北京為清政府服務(wù)的西方"技藝之人"在廣州十三行商館設(shè)立了經(jīng)理人,其職責(zé)是為他們轉(zhuǎn)遞來往于歐洲與北京間的書信、物品,并向中國政府推薦新的技藝人才。這種代理人最初是在清政府禁傳天主教、廣州一口通商以及澳葡當(dāng)局取締耶穌會(huì)的背景下,由乾隆帝批準(zhǔn)設(shè)立的,在嘉慶朝早中期延續(xù)了下來。共有8位這樣的經(jīng)理人入駐過十三行商館,各人停留的時(shí)間長短不一,其中5位得到了清政府的批準(zhǔn)。由于來自法國的"技藝之人"受到澳門葡萄牙人的打壓,對在廣州設(shè)立自己的代表有著最為迫切的需要,因此廣州經(jīng)理人制度的建立與人員的變更主要與他們有關(guān)。廣州經(jīng)理人的設(shè)立表明,廣州十三行不僅是1757-1842年清代一口通商時(shí)期中外經(jīng)濟(jì)往來最主要的場所,而且也是那一時(shí)期中西文化交往鏈條上最為重要的環(huán)節(jié)。
[Abstract]:During the reign of Qianlong and Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty, Western "artisans" who served the Qing government in Beijing set up managers at the Guangzhou 13 Trade Hall, whose duty was to transmit letters and articles to and from Europe and Beijing. He recommended new technical talents to the Chinese government. The agent was initially established by Emperor Qianlong under the background of the Qing government's ban on Catholicism, trade in Guangzhou and the ban of the Jesuits by the Portuguese and Australian authorities. In the early and middle of the Jiaqing Dynasty, a total of eight of these managers have been in the 13 pavilions, each of whom has stayed for different periods of time. Five of them were approved by the Qing government. Because the "craftsman" from France was oppressed by the Portuguese in Macao, there was an urgent need to set up their own representative in Guangzhou. Therefore, the establishment of Guangzhou manager system and the change of personnel are mainly related to them. The establishment of Guangzhou manager shows that Guangzhou 13 line is not only the most important place for Chinese and foreign economic exchanges in the Qing Dynasty from 1757 to 1842. And it was also the most important link in the chain of Chinese and Western cultural communication in that period.
