二十世紀(jì)共和主義的先聲——阿倫特公民美德思想研究

【摘要】: 作為二十世紀(jì)最偉大的、最具原創(chuàng)性的政治哲學(xué)家之一,漢娜·阿倫特對二十世紀(jì)共和主義的重振和復(fù)興有著先導(dǎo)性的作用,對公民政治議題在當(dāng)下,即極權(quán)主義沖擊下的后極權(quán)主義時代的今天的重新崛起有著不可磨滅的作用。在當(dāng)前西方的自由主義與社群主義由對立走向融合之際,共和主義的許多思想還有研究和發(fā)掘的空間,公民美德問題就是如此。 阿倫特是站在自古希臘時代以來諸多政治思想家,特別是以亞里士多德、西塞羅、馬基雅維利、孟德斯鳩、托克維爾等共和主義色彩濃厚的政治思想家肩上來研究公民美德問題的。所以本文花比較多的筆墨羅列與梳理這些政治思想家對公民美德問題的論述。 在極權(quán)主義肆虐的黑暗時代,阿倫特從哲學(xué)的殿堂里走出來,走向公共領(lǐng)域,親身體驗共和主義式微、公共領(lǐng)域崩潰、公民美德與公民行動等蕩然無存的險境,并針對現(xiàn)實政治問題,提出了自己獨到的見解,這些對共和主義在二十世紀(jì)中后期的復(fù)興提供了充分的養(yǎng)料與啟示。后來又結(jié)合古希臘的政治經(jīng)驗對公共領(lǐng)域理論做了比較全面和深刻的整理,而她在進(jìn)行公共領(lǐng)域理論闡述之時,絲毫未脫離公民美德、公民行動等議題的關(guān)聯(lián)性,因為正如本文所分析的那樣,阿倫特的諸多政治概念是具有高度相關(guān)性,并且都是以公共領(lǐng)域為基礎(chǔ)的。 阿倫特堅決反對對政治概念的統(tǒng)一化的理解與規(guī)范,因為她的政治概念,包括公民美德在內(nèi)都是無法預(yù)設(shè)與規(guī)定的。本文通過對阿倫特相關(guān)著作和理論的比較系統(tǒng)和全面的梳理與分析,最終歸納為:進(jìn)入并維護(hù)公共領(lǐng)域的勇氣,追求卓越和不朽的言辭與行動的彰顯,以良知為基礎(chǔ)的積極思考與判斷等一致構(gòu)成了阿倫特理想的公民美德的內(nèi)容。 阿倫特的公民美德思想不僅僅在于復(fù)興了共和主義德性話語,而且可以在一定程度上克服當(dāng)今主流意識形態(tài)對共和主義的集體主義性質(zhì)的質(zhì)疑。因而,在這個意義上,阿倫特的公民美德思想至今仍具有很強的現(xiàn)實性與前瞻性。
[Abstract]:As one of the greatest and most original political philosophers of the twentieth century, Hannah Arendt played a leading role in reviving and reviving republicanism in the twentieth century. That is, the post-totalitarian era under the impact of totalitarianism today's re-emergence has an indelible role. At present, when liberalism and communitarianism in the West change from opposition to integration, there is still room for research and exploration in many ideas of republicanism, such as the question of civic virtue. Arendt is a lot of political thinkers since ancient Greece, especially Aristotle, Cicero, Machiavelli, Montesquieu. Tocqueville and other Republican political thinkers on the shoulders to study the issue of civic virtue. Therefore, this paper spend more pen and ink list and comb these political thinkers on the issue of civil virtue. In the dark age of totalitarianism, Arendt stepped out of the halls of philosophy and went into the public sphere, experiencing firsthand the downfall of republicanism, the collapse of the public sphere, the absence of civic virtue and civil action, and so on. Aiming at the realistic political problems, the author puts forward his own unique opinions, which provide sufficient nourishment and enlightenment for the republicanism in the middle and late 20th century. Later, in combination with the political experience of ancient Greece, she made a relatively comprehensive and profound arrangement of the theory of the public sphere, and when she carried out the elaboration of the theory of the public sphere, she was not in any way divorced from the relevance of issues such as civic virtue, civil action, and so on. Because, as this paper analyses, many of Arendt's political concepts are highly relevant and are based on the public domain. Arendt firmly opposed to the unified understanding and norms of political concepts, because her political concepts, including civil virtue, can not be presupposed and regulated. Through a systematic and comprehensive analysis of Arendt's works and theories, this paper concludes that the courage to enter and maintain the public sphere, the pursuit of excellence and immortality of words and deeds, Positive thinking and judgment based on conscience form the content of Arendt's ideal civic virtue. Arendt's thought of civic virtue lies not only in reviving the moral discourse of republicanism, but also in overcoming the doubt of the collectivism of republicanism in the mainstream ideology. Therefore, in this sense, Arendt's thought of civic virtue is still very realistic and forward-looking.
