【摘要】："一戰(zhàn)"后期,威爾遜主義在中國(guó)大行其道,成為中國(guó)知識(shí)界和媒體界最受歡迎的外來(lái)思想。威爾遜主義之所以能夠在中國(guó)廣為傳播,既是因?yàn)橥栠d總統(tǒng)的救世理念契合了"一戰(zhàn)"時(shí)期中國(guó)人渴望和平民主的心理訴求,同時(shí)也與美國(guó)公共情報(bào)委員會(huì)和留美知識(shí)精英的努力提倡有關(guān)。以蔣夢(mèng)麟為代表的留美派學(xué)人利用商務(wù)印書(shū)館、江蘇省教育會(huì)和北京大學(xué)等文化傳播平臺(tái),大力推銷(xiāo)《美國(guó)總統(tǒng)威爾遜參戰(zhàn)演說(shuō)》,為威爾遜主義在中國(guó)的傳播竭盡所能。對(duì)中國(guó)而言,威爾遜主義的民族自決原則是最具吸引力的。在五四運(yùn)動(dòng)爆發(fā)前夕,北京政府徐世昌總統(tǒng)、研究系梁?jiǎn)⒊�、北京大學(xué)的新文化派以及西南軍閥等,從各自的利益出發(fā),競(jìng)相以威爾遜主義為旗幟,發(fā)起和平運(yùn)動(dòng)和國(guó)民外交運(yùn)動(dòng)。質(zhì)言之,威爾遜主義成為五四運(yùn)動(dòng)的一個(gè)外來(lái)的重要源動(dòng)力。
[Abstract]:In the later period of World War I, Wilson doctrine became the most popular foreign thought in Chinese intellectual and media circles. Wilson's doctrine was widely spread in China not only because President Wilson's idea of saving the world coincided with the psychological demands of the Chinese people for peace and democracy during World War I, but also because of the efforts of the American Public Intelligence Committee and the intellectual elite to stay in the United States. The scholars studying in the United States, represented by Jiang Menglin, made use of the cultural communication platforms such as the Commercial Press, the Jiangsu Education Association and Peking University to vigorously promote the speech of President Wilson to the War, so as to do their best for the spread of Wilson Doctrine in China. For China, Wilson's principle of national self-determination is the most attractive. On the eve of the May 4th Movement, President Xu Shichang of the Beijing government, Liang Qichao of the research department, the neo-cultural faction of Peking University and the southwest warlords competed to launch the peace movement and the national diplomacy movement under the banner of Wilson doctrine. In short, Wilson Doctrine became an important foreign source of the May 4th Movement.
