[Abstract]:Women's vernacular, which was founded in Beijing in October 1912, ceased publication in May 1913 and issued 11 issues. It is the official publication of the Women's political League. After the establishment of the Women's political League, in view of the fact that "200 million women compatriots can never express their opinions in the newspaper," Tang Qunying, premier of the Women's political League Association, founded the newspaper. Women's vernacular newspaper is one of the three women's publications advocating women's participation in politics in the early years of the Republic of China. Although only 11 issues have been published, they are of great value. It is not only the firsthand data of the women's political association and the women's political movement in the early Republic of China, but also the important data of the women's liberation movement in the early Republic of China. At present, there is almost no research on Women's vernacular in the field of history, and there are no special works or papers to study this newspaper. It is of great significance to study "Women's vernacular newspaper" both from the perspective of the study of the history of women's movement in modern China and from the perspective of the study of the history of newspapers and periodicals. This paper attempts to analyze the newspaper in four parts. The first part explores the social background of the founding of "Women's vernacular newspaper". The founding of "Women's vernacular newspaper" is the result of the combination of the development of women's newspapers and periodicals and the development of women's participation in politics in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. It is the inevitable outcome of the development of women's liberation movement in modern China. In the second part, the author introduces and discusses the publishing, publishing period and column setting of "Women's vernacular newspaper" by means of the combination of tables and written narration, as well as the introduction and argumentation of the editorial group. The third part introduces the contents of "Women's vernacular" from two aspects: feminist view and current affairs view. The purpose of "Women's vernacular newspaper" is to popularize women's knowledge and prepare for women's participation in politics. In the view of women's rights, the newspaper discusses the basic conditions that women should have in politics, economy and education, discusses the equal rights of men and women, the importance of women's political participation and women's liberation, and calls on women to struggle for their own liberation. In the view of current affairs, newspapers report the political trends and the status of women's participation in politics in time, and encourage women to pay attention to current affairs and the development of women's movement. The fourth part analyzes the historical status and influence of Women's vernacular newspaper. First of all, it truly recorded the difficult process and struggle of women's political participation in the early Republic of China, and provided first-hand information for the study of women's participation in politics and even the whole women's political participation movement, which has important historical value. Secondly, it propagandizes the theory of women's participation in politics in plain and understandable vernacular language, and calls on women to struggle for their own liberation. It is the most powerful propaganda tool of public opinion in women's participation in politics. As the propaganda position of the Women's political League, the "Women's vernacular newspaper" regards women's participation in politics as the central content, inculcates new ideas and ideas into women's circles with plain vernacular writing, and is a progressive publication.
