吳國楨治臺及其與蔣介石政權(quán)的隔洋論戰(zhàn)

【摘要】：吳國楨歷任國民黨黨政要職,得到美國人的欣賞。1 949年,蔣介石敗退遷臺,換下心腹愛將陳誠,以吳國楨為臺灣省主席。三年任內(nèi),吳國楨的成績表現(xiàn)在:1.推行地方自治,實行縣市議員、縣長、市長的自由選舉。2.改革稅收,穩(wěn)定金融。3.反對特務(wù)橫行,提倡法治。1953年春,吳國楨辭職赴美。到美后,吳國楨公開批評蔣介石在臺灣所建立的統(tǒng)治,"民主"是假,"集權(quán)"是實,以及"人權(quán)無保障","言論不自由",實行"思想控制"等六大過失。蔣介石則指責其"叛黨賣國","實為汪精衛(wèi)所不及",甚至斥之為"人猿"。除指令張道藩、陶希圣等人出面駁斥外,又下令撤除其所任職務(wù),雙方展開隔洋論戰(zhàn)。胡適最初持調(diào)停息爭態(tài)度,繼而著文批評吳國楨不應(yīng)推卸自己的過失,吳國楨則答以"假如我在過去曾有錯誤,那是因為我懦弱,而我今后定將不再懦弱"。蔣介石原擬尋找吳國楨的罪狀,以法律起訴,但是,找不到多少真憑實據(jù)。吳國楨原擬寫12封信批評蔣介石,由于美國親臺人士柯克等人的調(diào)解,在寫完第5封信以后停筆。
[Abstract]:Wu Guozhen was a senior official in the KMT party and government, and was appreciated by Americans. In 1949, Jiang Jieshi lost and moved to Taiwan to replace his confidant, Chen Cheng, with Wu Guozhen as president of Taiwan Province. During his three years in office, Wu Guozhen's achievements were as follows: 1. Promote local autonomy, the implementation of county councillors, county governors, mayors and free elections. 2. Reform tax, stabilize finance. Oppose the secret agent rampant, advocate the rule of law. 1953 spring, Wu Guozhen resigned to the United States. After arriving in the United States, Wu Kuo-chen openly criticized the Jiang Jieshi's establishment of rule in Taiwan, "democracy" is false, "centralization" is real, and "human rights are not guaranteed," speech is not free, "and the implementation of" ideological control. " Jiang Jieshi accused him of "traitorous", "beyond the Wang Jingwei" and even called "apes." In addition to directing Zhang Daofan, Tao Xisheng and others to refute, they also ordered the removal of his post. Hu Shi initially took a quiet attitude, and then wrote that Wu should not shirk his mistakes. Wu replied, "if I ever made a mistake in the past, it was because I was weak, and I will definitely not be weak any more." Jiang Jieshi had intended to find Wu Guozhen's charges and prosecute them by law, but there was little evidence.
