【摘要】: 自十九世紀末和二十世紀初,西方列強涌入中國,希望能以自己的標準改變中國。中國人民渴望國家富強,因而采用西方先進方法救國家于危難之間。在這樣的社會環(huán)境下,基督教青年會于十九世紀末引入中國,在許多方面發(fā)揮了重要作用。 杭州基督教青年會是中華基督教青年會的一個城市協(xié)會,于1913年在鮑乃德的領(lǐng)導下建立。本論文考察了基督教青年會從1913年建立到1937年之間的歷史,探討了杭州基督教青年會的活動如何影響杭州人民和社會,并對公民身份的塑造做出貢獻。其活動主要以教育的形式進行,包括德育,智育,公民教育和體育;顒舆包括衛(wèi)生活動和社會服務。這些活動強調(diào)了人們作為公民的責任,漸漸融入人們生活。讀書認字,身體健康,有集體意識等素質(zhì)逐漸被接受,成為合格公民的重要部分。 論文也從話語等角度談及杭州基督教青年會在這段時間成敗的原因。這些原因也有助于理解青年會的發(fā)展。本論文旨在介紹杭州基督教青年會對杭州公民身份的塑造。
[Abstract]:Since the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, Western powers have poured into China, hoping to change China by their own standards. The Chinese people longed for the country to be rich and strong, so they adopted advanced western methods to save the country from distress. In such a social environment, YMCA was introduced into China in the late 19th century and played an important role in many aspects. Hangzhou YMCA, a city association of Chinese YMCA, was established under the leadership of Bonnie de in 1913. This paper examines the history of YMCA from 1913 to 1937, discusses how the activities of YMCA in Hangzhou affect the people and society of Hangzhou and contribute to the shaping of citizenship. Its activities are mainly in the form of education, including moral education, intellectual education, civic education and physical education. Activities also include health activities and social services. These activities emphasize the responsibility of people as citizens and gradually integrate into people's lives. Reading, health, collective consciousness and other qualities are gradually accepted, becoming an important part of qualified citizens. The thesis also discusses the reasons for the success or failure of YMCA in this period from the perspective of discourse. These reasons also help to understand the development of the YMCA. The purpose of this thesis is to introduce the shaping of Hangzhou citizenship by YMCA.
