【摘要】：正光緒二十七年(1901年),清政府與西方列強(qiáng)簽訂了屈辱的《辛丑條約》,其中第六條規(guī)定:中國(guó)向列強(qiáng)賠償4.5億兩白銀,按4%年息,分39年還清,本息共達(dá)9.822億兩。因?yàn)橘r款是針對(duì)1900年(庚子年)義和團(tuán)運(yùn)動(dòng)導(dǎo)致八國(guó)聯(lián)軍出兵中國(guó)攻占北京所引起,故被稱為"庚子賠款"(簡(jiǎn)稱"庚款")。在美國(guó)朝野的敦促和中國(guó)駐美公使梁誠(chéng)的努力下,1908年5月25日,
[Abstract]:In the twenty-seventh year (1901) of Guang Xu, the Qing government signed the humiliating Treaty of Xin Chou with the Western powers. Article 6 of the Treaty stipulates that China pays 450 million silver dollars to the foreign powers, at the interest rate of 4% per year, which is paid off in 39 years, and the principal and interest amount to 982.2 million. Because the reparations were directed at the Boxer Movement in 1900 (Boxer year), which led the eight nations to send troops to China to conquer Beijing, it was called "Boxer indemnity" (referred to as "G").
