[Abstract]:Self-deception in autobiographical narrative is a kind of self-deception understood from the point of view of the individual. It is an identification strategy used in the process of individual self-construction without interpersonal pressure. This kind of self-deceit occurs in the process of autobiographical narration, in which individuals open the narrative distance between "new ego" and "old self" through narrative language, establish new goal pursuit and realization, and finally construct new narrative identity. In this process, driven by motivation to maintain positive self-concept, individuals use deviant information processing methods to narrate self-stories to meet the needs of consistency between emotional experience and emotional evaluation, and then affect individual self-consciousness. Cause self-change. Future studies can explore the clinical behavior and treatment strategies of self-deception in autobiographical narrative, investigate its cognitive neural mechanism, and explore the characteristics and influencing factors of self-deception in different social and cultural backgrounds.
