情緒喚醒對不同語義、空間關(guān)系的項目—背景聯(lián)結(jié)記憶影響:行為與眼動研究

【摘要】:情緒喚醒對聯(lián)結(jié)記憶影響的研究一直存在爭議,Mather(2007)認(rèn)為爭議的原因是人們研究的聯(lián)結(jié)記憶類型不同,他認(rèn)為情緒喚醒會增強項目內(nèi)聯(lián)結(jié)記憶而削弱項目間聯(lián)結(jié)記憶,情緒喚醒之所以會削弱項目間聯(lián)結(jié)記憶,是因為對項目投入太多的注意就不容易將項目與背景進(jìn)行捆綁。注意是否是解釋情緒喚醒影響項目間聯(lián)結(jié)記憶的唯一原因,至今還無定論。一體化假說認(rèn)為,若能在編碼時對兩個或多個分離的項目進(jìn)行一體化加工,整合成一個整體,情緒喚醒也會對“一體化”了的項目間聯(lián)結(jié)記憶起到促進(jìn)作用。人們會對語義上與情緒喚醒主題事件有直接聯(lián)系(語義上的“中心”)的信息記憶更好,會對在空間上與情緒喚醒主題事件接近(空間上的“中心”)的信息記憶更好,語義關(guān)系和空間關(guān)系哪個對項目間聯(lián)結(jié)記憶影響更大,至今還無定論。本研究試圖通過三個實驗來研究語義關(guān)系和空間關(guān)系對情緒喚醒影響項目間聯(lián)結(jié)記憶的制約作用,并探究注意是否能用來解釋情緒喚醒對項目間聯(lián)結(jié)記憶的影響。實驗1采用2(項目情緒喚醒:消極、中性)×2(語義關(guān)系:相關(guān)、不相關(guān))×2(項目與背景間空間距離:遠(yuǎn)、近)的三因素被試內(nèi)設(shè)計。實驗2采用2(項目情緒喚醒:消極、中性)×2(語義關(guān)系:相關(guān)、不相關(guān))×2(項目處于背景中的空間位置:中心、邊緣)的三因素被試內(nèi)設(shè)計。實驗3采用2(項目情緒喚醒:消極、中性)×2(空間一致性:一致、不一致)的兩因素被試內(nèi)設(shè)計。因變量均為項目的再認(rèn)成績和項目與背景的聯(lián)結(jié)再認(rèn)成績,眼動指標(biāo)為興趣區(qū)域的注視數(shù)量比率和對興趣區(qū)的注意分配比率。本研究得出如下結(jié)論:(1)項目-背景間語義關(guān)系以及空間關(guān)系會制約情緒喚醒對項目-背景間聯(lián)結(jié)記憶的影響,其中語義上的“中心”比空間上的“中心”對其制約作用更大。(2)項目-背景間的一體化有助于緩和情緒喚醒對聯(lián)結(jié)記憶的削弱作用。(3)注意并不是解釋情緒喚醒影響項目-背景間聯(lián)結(jié)記憶的唯一因素。
[Abstract]:There has been controversy about the influence of emotional arousal on associative memory. Mather (2007) argues that the reason for the controversy is that the types of associative memory studied by people are different. He believes that emotional arousal can enhance the associative memory in the project and weaken the associative memory between items. Emotional arousal weakens project memory because too much attention to the project makes it difficult to bind the project to the background. Whether or not attention is the only reason why emotional arousal affects interitem memory is still unclear. The integration hypothesis holds that if two or more separate items can be integrated into a whole when coding, emotional arousal will also promote the "integrated" inter-project associative memory. People have a better memory of information that is directly related to the subject event of emotional arousal (the semantic "center"), and a better memory of information that is close to the subject event of emotional arousal in space (the "center" in space). There is still no conclusion as to which semantic relationship or spatial relationship has a greater influence on the memory of interproject connection. The present study attempts to study the influence of semantic and spatial relationships on emotional arousal and to explore whether attention can be used to explain the effects of emotional arousal on interitem associative memory. Experiment 1 was designed by using three factors (item emotional arousal: negative, neutral) 脳 2 (semantic relation: correlation, irrelevant) 脳 2 (spatial distance between project and background: far and near). Experiment 2 was designed by using three factors (item emotional arousal: negative, neutral) 脳 2 (semantic relation: correlation, irrelevant) 脳 2 (spatial position of project in the background: center, edge). Experiment 3 was designed by two factors (item emotional arousal: negative, neutral) 脳 2 (spatial consistency: consistency, inconsistency). The dependent variables are the recognition achievement of the item and the association recognition between the item and the background. The eye movement index is the ratio of the number of attention in the area of interest and the ratio of attention allocation to the area of interest. The main conclusions of this study are as follows: (1) the semantic relationship between items and backgrounds and the spatial relationship will restrict the influence of emotional arousal on the connective memory between items and backgrounds. The semantic "center" is more restrictive than the spatial "center". (2) the integration of project-background helps to alleviate the weakening effect of emotional arousal on associative memory. (3) attention is not an explanation of emotional arousal shadow. Ring item-the only factor that connects memory between backgrounds.
