【摘要】：本文采用實(shí)驗(yàn)方法針對(duì)漢語母語者的空間化時(shí)間表征偏好進(jìn)行研究。已有研究表明,漢語母語者可以在三維空間中,即沿左右軸、前后軸以及上下軸自由概念化時(shí)間,并且他們思考時(shí)間的模式與所持語言和所屬文化中的模式一致。本文在具身認(rèn)知框架下,以三個(gè)行為實(shí)驗(yàn)考察漢語母語者對(duì)于不同空間軸的時(shí)間表征的偏好。 本研究的第一個(gè)實(shí)驗(yàn)要求被試在三維空間中自由放置時(shí)間點(diǎn)。實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果顯示出被試在左右軸上空間化時(shí)間的明顯傾向。就左右軸上的時(shí)間表征來說,被試表現(xiàn)出了從左往右的時(shí)間安排模式,這一模式與漢語的讀寫習(xí)慣相符。在前后軸時(shí)間表征中,被試呈現(xiàn)出“早-后”、“晚-前”這一時(shí)間-時(shí)間關(guān)聯(lián)模式；在上下軸表征中,呈現(xiàn)出“早-上”、“晚-下”的關(guān)聯(lián)模式,該模式與漢語中的垂直空時(shí)隱喻特點(diǎn)相符。第二個(gè)實(shí)驗(yàn)借助內(nèi)隱聯(lián)想任務(wù),從在線加工的角度為前一個(gè)實(shí)驗(yàn)的結(jié)果提供支持。該實(shí)驗(yàn)證實(shí)了漢語母語者對(duì)于左右軸表征的偏好,以及在各軸上的時(shí)間-空間關(guān)聯(lián)模式。第三個(gè)實(shí)驗(yàn)專門考察漢語母語者在加工“時(shí)間在動(dòng)”隱喻時(shí)的時(shí)間朝向(即說話者／自我面朝未來還是面朝過去),對(duì)本文和已有研究之間的不同結(jié)果的解釋之一進(jìn)行驗(yàn)證。該實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果暗示了文化態(tài)度對(duì)于時(shí)間朝向的影響力。 總體而言,本研究結(jié)果支持了感知運(yùn)動(dòng)經(jīng)驗(yàn)以及概念隱喻在塑造和影響人們抽象概念表征上所起的作用。
[Abstract]:In this paper, the spatial time representation preference of native Chinese speakers is studied by experimental method. It has been shown that Chinese native speakers can conceptualize time freely in three dimensional space, that is, along the left and right axis, front and rear axis, and upper and lower axes, and their patterns of thinking about time are consistent with the patterns in their own language and culture. In this paper, three behavioral experiments were conducted to investigate the preference of Chinese native speakers for temporal representation of different spatial axes under the framework of physical cognition. In this first experiment, participants were asked to place free time points in three-dimensional space. The experimental results show that the subjects tend to space time on the left and right axis. In terms of the time representation on the left and right axis, the subjects showed a pattern of time arrangement from left to right, which was consistent with Chinese reading and writing habits. In the time representation of front and rear axis, the subjects showed a time-time correlation pattern of "early to back" and "late to front", and in the upper and lower axis representations, they showed "early-top" and "late-down" correlation patterns. The pattern is consistent with the vertical space-time metaphor in Chinese. The second experiment supports the results of the previous experiment from the point of view of online processing with the help of implicit association task. This experiment confirms the preference of Chinese native speakers for the representation of the left and right axes, as well as the temporal and spatial correlation patterns on each axis. The third experiment focuses on the temporal orientation (i.e., the speaker / ego facing the future or the past) when the native speakers process the metaphor of "time in motion", and verifies one of the explanations of the different results between this paper and the previous studies. The results suggest the influence of cultural attitudes on time orientation. In general, the present study supports the role of perceptual motor experience and conceptual metaphor in shaping and influencing abstract conceptual representation.
