【摘要】：本論文采用敘述探究的方法,研究五名赴臺參加暑期項目的大陸學(xué)生在臺的跨文化經(jīng)歷。作者探究了該五名大陸學(xué)生作為旅居者是如何運用跨文化移情能力應(yīng)對所經(jīng)歷的文化休克。作為參與性觀察者,在數(shù)據(jù)收集方面,作者采用結(jié)構(gòu)化的郵件采訪以及現(xiàn)場筆記。通過分析五名大陸學(xué)生對其在臺文化適應(yīng)經(jīng)歷的敘述,作者發(fā)現(xiàn)盡管大陸地區(qū)與臺灣地區(qū)共享幾乎相同的語言,但五名大陸學(xué)生參與者在臺灣仍然遭遇了文化休克及文化關(guān)鍵事件;而運用跨文化移情能力是旅居者適應(yīng)新文化、應(yīng)對文化休克的有效策略。本研究發(fā)現(xiàn)五名大陸學(xué)生參與者的跨文化移情表現(xiàn)歸納為五項策略:“承認(rèn)、尊重兩文化間的差異”、“以開放、合作的態(tài)度理解他文化”、“克服敵對意識,以積極態(tài)度對待分歧”、“有針對性地、科學(xué)地傳播和接受信息”和“情感上克服先入為主的文化定式”。本敘事探究的結(jié)論,特別是上述五項策略的提出將有助于高校教師幫助學(xué)生在主客體文化轉(zhuǎn)變的過程中減壓,并且可協(xié)助教師加強(qiáng)對學(xué)生跨文化移情能力的培養(yǎng),使其在面臨文化休克或文化關(guān)鍵事件時能夠從容應(yīng)對。
